Haven't seen this thread active in ages.. everything alright Robo?

I'm yet to finish the timeline or get the requirements for the latest quest, the Mighty Fall, though I think it's safe to assume it occurs at the very least after The Bird And The Beast, though there may be references to Zaros' return. Could someone please clarify?

@ Aerav

Nice list, I like it. Coming in from the west to Lumbridge, then heading back for Stolen Hearts and into the desert, then going north for Varrock quests. Saving Song from the Depths until after you've fought your first Dragon, then going nearby the port for the entrana/karamja quests, then back to the mainland and west for Kandarin's trek.

It looks like it all connects very well, I see the similarities from the list I made and see that you applied your own ideas and such, I'm glad you were able to come up with an alternative to fit your own story. How's that story going, btw? If you want to go into detail.

@ Heidly Ees

For HopeSpear's Will, I did do it in the Marathon although as a part of Land of the Goblins as well, I should note it separately as a miniquest on the timeline yeah.

I think I did Mudskippers too, but I can't remember when, it was during the middle of another quest, hmm..

Scabaras Research could be right after Dealing With Scabaras since it doesn't have any locational endings, same with Rogue Trader after The Feud, but I'm not sure where Mage Arena could fit in on the timeline. Any suggestions?

Also as for why I've not been posting lately, my internet's been out for awhile and will be for awhile longer, but I'll probably have it back sometime before the Elf finale comes out (still feels weird being able to actually use that as an accurate means of an eta, if I were to say that same line a year ago it could mean, well, a year to five years from then).

Until then I just come up to the library every now and then to stay in contact, but I often have other things I need to do while I'm up here so I forget to post.
You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Bump because of reasons.

Exams have slowed my progress considerably, but now they're over I'm nearly there! 9 more to go! (Hopefully 8 by the end of tonight!) Not counting miniquests of course.

Mage Arena, hmm.

How about the player is hanging around Edgville, and discovers the wilderness lever for the first time. They then explore that part of the wilderness, - perhaps get attacked! - and run into the nearby Mage Arena for safety [pretty much like like it happened for most of us].

So anytime the player is around Edgville I guess? I would suggest immediately after Dragon Slayer, the player decides to take a break and explore the town before heading back to the Champions Guild, and finds the lever. Or when they are going down the trapdoor to do that part of the Family Crest quest, they find the lever, and come back to it when they finish the quest.

Alternatively, the player likely devoted some of their time exploring the wilderness. So perhaps around the time they are doing the Summer quests or the Abyss miniquest.

There's some good ideas. How about during/after Curse of Zaros? I'd say that's the quest where we explore the Wilderness the most.

I suppose that would work. Although personally, I would place Mage Arena before the player learns of Zaros, as it carries over that "Three God" legacy.

Ah true. Guess your idea works better there then :)

Epic thread Robo Hobo.

Well-written and nicely laid out. I have 309 Quest Points, wish I had had this thread much sooner. With the quests I have remaining, I do plan to do in order as you have presented them.

Thanks for the excellent work.
