Perhaps not relevant, but what do you think about a timeline for Old School RuneScape? Considering the troll warzone doesn't exist there, I can't imagine quests like Troll Stronghold occurring so early on. I've been playing Old School recently and realised how much more difficult the troll quests are to the others in the adventurer chapter. I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

Not to offend anyone who plays oldschool, but I don't really like to consider it in any form canonical, I kind of just see it as an "official private server", what with all of the lore-breaking updates that get put on it.

It's nice to be able to redo quests with the difficulty back then, it's a shame quests have gotten abundantly easier with EoC (at least in my case, I like a challenge), but aside from that, I don't think I'd ever be on it. You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Personally I consider Old School to be the canon 5th Age content - that's what really happened in those "flashbacks" whereas RS3 is the 6th Age. The abilities granted through EoC are all due to being the World Guardian, hence why in the 5th Age they were non-existent. (I realise EoC came a few months before the 6th Age, but this is just my headcanon) I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

I actually like the theory that the abilities came from becoming the world guardian, I had that thought too back at TWW, but with NPC's using them I'm not so sure how good it floats anymore lol. You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Just posting to say I've nearly finished the timeline! Just done A Clockwork Syringe, which was hilarious. Only a handful of quests to go! (Admittedly they're the biggest and most epic quests in the game, but hey ho). Birthright of the Dwarves requirements should be fun to get -_- I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

I've just noticed there are a few miniquests not on the timeline!

These include;
- Hopespear's Will (unlocked after Land of the Goblins)
- Rogue Trader (requires The Feud and Icthlarin's Little Helper)
- Mudskippers
- Mage Arena
- Scabaras research

There might be a few others but I have an exam tomorrow. Might revisit this post on Friday. I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.
