It's Hard Being Zamorakian
when you're the appointed World Guardian. Does that even make sense? It's like being lawyer by day and criminal by night.

It's Hard Being Zamorakian
when you have ties to all Gods. Helping Saradomin in many quests, joining the Temple Knights and assisting Seren who has done the Mahjarrat dirty.

It's Hard Being Zamorakian
when you're going up against Zamorakian followers. Slaying Agrith Naar, Delrith, Lord Iban, Tarn Razorlor; as well as fighting most of Zamorak's loyal Mahjarrat followers such as Lucien, Hazeel, General Khazard , Zemouregal and Enakhra.

It's Hard Being Zamorakian
when the game always pits you against Zamorak in a predetermined scenario.

How can it be possible for me to enjoy the game as a Zamorakian when all things are against it?

Because it is in itself a chaotic situation, something you as a Zamorakian should revel in and be thrilled at the prospect of overcoming.

I noticed you're Zamorakian too. How can you deal with these scenarios when all Gods rely on you for their goals?

Have you done Sliske's Endgame?

During the maze puzzle when you would reunite with other Gods and they ask for your opinion on specific scenarios... It's almost a kill for me. Why rely on me when we're supposed to be enemies?

Amusing but no.

Yes, I have. Apart from a certain maze it was jolly good fun.

Sorry for the assumption, I didn't notice your signature. :(

I guess even though you're not, you can relate with what I am trying to say. It sort of bothered me for years as I felt like you had to be a part of The Godless if you wanted the story to make "sense". After being chosen as a Guardian of Guthix and becoming WG, it's sort of a turn-off when you're trying to join another God and still having that other side with you.

How can one ignore the fact and continue playing? Maybe I'm thinking too hard, but it's really been demotivating for me.

You don't have to be Godless for the story to make sense, nothing is stopping you from being Zamorakian if you truly want to be. Zamorak recognizes you plenty of times in the current story and never forget that Guthix was not a perfect being and you do not have to listen to his pleas of keeping the world free from gods.

Fact is the majority of us do follow a god, and flat out ignore his wishes and we've gotten on just fine.

Guthix was the Players friend, not necessarily their god.

Zamorakians nowadays do have followers that don't automatically want to kill them, you have Moia, Hazeel, Bilrach, And like I mentioned Zamorak himself does notice you and your allegiance to him. Don't feel disheartened.

Thanks for the reply LethalIntent, it was really helpful of what you said.

I've been an on-and-off player mostly due to the way the story is told and since I find myself heavily into the lore, it made me feel uninspired to play due to the circumstances that are predetermined to you.

I guess what you're saying is right, maybe I am thinking a little too much. I guess we'll see how the rest of the story plays out :D

Accomplish it the same way you can be a Bandosian and do the cave goblin series.

Zanik: No. Not today. Bandos is wrong and his beliefs are dangerous, but perhaps if his followers were more like you...

Zanik: It's not Bandos that gives you that power, or his philosophy, but you and your interpretation of it.

Zanik: If the Bandosians were more like you, perhaps there would be fewer monsters.
