To be fair, the Godless aren't the only faction that don't 100% follow their ideology.

Saradominists believe order makes the world go round, but a hierarchy will always have a guy at the top who takes orders from no one.

Zamorakians are encouraged to carry out their goals by relying on themselves and following their own paths, yet still get punished for not helping out the big Z. The legendary creators have been long gone from this world. When they return, they'll be surprised and angered of their creations' new sapience. Meanwhile, the world's most elite, summoned to be its guardians, have abandoned their purpose and intend to plunge the world into chaos. -- Bionicle or RS?

False equivalence here. It's perfectly possible to agree with a god without worshipping them or simply following blindly. It's also perfectly possible to have an opinion that aligns with that of a god, and to hold that opinion of your own accord.

Hell, I agree with a lot of what Armadyl says, for one. But you sure don't see me following him.

That said, yes, there may well be Guthixians too hung up on following whatever he says to really see any other option. But that would certainly not be everyone -- individuals vary.
