I'm surprised that no one has included Priest in Peril.

Whilst not the best quest out there, it is a solid one and previously made a great entry to the Morytania region. Initially we are tricked into helping Zamorakian monks with their plan until their arrogance alerts King Roald to the situation. He tasks you to deal with it, infiltrating the overtaken monastery and freeing the trapped Drezel from a vampire trap. You then solve the problem through an incredible smart method, rune essence which I did not see coming.

Also, Roald's tantrum is absolutely brilliant. :P
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Roald's tantrum was actually one of the reasons I made sure other Roald-involved quests were kept to a minimum until after Priest in Peril took place in my timeline, as essentially, he threatened to kill us, and was furious...

And I think he might not necessarily would have been *as mad* if we'd already done a lot of other stuff for him already. :P

I had to have Shield of Arrav and What Lies Below before that though for other reasons, but that was the limit if I recall.
You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

One quest I really love is the Underground Pass. I remember doing it as a pretty low level, but just the sense of adventure was awesome. I liked it even more doing it again when i was playing OSRS as well. The only thing that takes away from the quest is when you get to Iban, it's rather easy to get rid of him. I wish he was built up more or there was some sort of epic confrontation. However, I still enjoy that quest a lot.

This thread got my attention as I was browsing through the forums, I just had to log in and reply. First I'd like to say I haven't played Runescape since EoC came out, but had a quest cape before then.

So from all the quests pre-EoC, I'd have to say While Guthix Sleeps hands down.

This was the quest that just stood out to me. After completing it, it gave me this sense of satisfaction and joy that no other quest gave me. It also got me more into the lore of this game.

Second favorite would have to be Monkey Madness just for pure nostalgia. I remember being a member for the first time and wanted to do this quest for the Dragon Scimitar. I pulled an all nighter doing this quest, took about 5-6 hours because I was a super noob, but thinking about this quest gives me the feels.

I haven't done any of the high-level Quests like WGS, but so far I would have to say my favorite Quest is: Shadow of the Storm .

It has everything I wanted out of a Quest. The Sense of heroism from slaying the demon, an epic plot twist which I think more quests could have, the build-up and suspense, not to mention a cool looking sword! plus my heart has a soft spot for the Golem and he played an important role in slaying the demon. The throne room looked awesome too, the removable gems were a nice touch. And, of course, there was EVIL DAVE!!!

This Quest needs some love on the list; therefore I vote for it!!
To those cursed by war and pest, Come into the light of Armadyl and rest. This is the law of Armadyl.

Lots of choices, but my vote is going to 'Fate of the Gods'.

The lore is amazing. A lot of mystery on Zaros becomes so much clearer after that quest, but also a lot of new mystery is added with the Elder Gods and Zaros' relation with Seren.
The surroundings of Freneskae look great. It really gives that feeling of a primordial world, hostile to all life, where only the strongest can survive.
The music tracks, like Non Corpos Mentis and Nightmare at the Cradle are amazing, and the voice acting is great.
The combat requires a lot of skill, despite not having complex mechanics. I rarely die during quests, but in this quest I got very close, droppping to double-digit HP.
