Can I change mine to Death of Chivalry? Lol no, but it was a great quest, definitely up there with top quests.
Changed to Salt in the Wound - that okay with you?

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

My favorite quest has to be While Guthix Sleeps. It had so much depth, and as I was fairly young in my adventures then it had a sort of magic as being the first big quest, the ancient Guthixian Temple had so much mystery and such a foreboding atmosphere. It was the first epic quest. It still remains to be beaten in my honest opinion.
While Guthix Sleeps hands down the best quest. Surprising too since it is much older than a lot of the really good new quests. The World Wakes was obviously a good quest because it has probably the most pivotal plotline that affects the whole game. Ritual of the Mahjarrat was rather good as was the whole series with it (with WGS being the best of that series). Branches of Darkmeyer was incredible. This new Death of Chivalry was well made. Honestly most 'new' quests are surprisingly good.
Where Guthix sought balance in the world, I seek balance in oneself. Pax tecum.
I vote on Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest because I've grown so fascinated about the Dragonkins and the great way they got introduced through this quest, lots of places got visited during it.

Most of 2012 was crap to decent, yeah, but it seems Mod Osborne was right; lots of excellent quests have been waiting for RS3's release and are now in line to be released themselves. The Death of Chivalry is a brilliant example of this.

My vote's for While Guthix Sleeps.
The whole thing was just a fantastic experience- it felt like a massive adventure. It took you all over the world, had heartbreaking loss, and the finale was too intense for me to handle.
I don't know what I could want more from a quest, honestly.
It may seem like an ''obvious'' choice, but The World Wakes has my vote. Literally, almost
everything
we knew about Guthix, the Origin of Gods, and the future changed with this quest.
When Jagex began talking about what the Edicts of Guthix actually were several months ago, whether they were tangible or just a decree, I knew they were up to something. Then the Origins of Gielinor video came out, and I was fairly certain that somehow, some way, the Edicts would be abolished (the foreboding message at the end of it made it seem likely). I assumed we would make something happen, or it would be an accident...
never
did I actually believe Jagex would be willing to kill-off a
major deity
. I was shocked when all the well-known WGS heroes died, but killing off Guthix was an
enormous
move.
In one single quest, everything I ever knew and held-dear in the world of Gielinor came crashing down around me. I know some people have issue with its length and not-so-high difficulty, but the story experience and the lore developments make it worthwhile in my book.
And I'm not ashamed to admit it made me shed tears-of-manly-manliness (*cough*). Hell, it's only one of
two
times in my gaming life that a game actually made me shed a tear at all, and evoke that kind of emotion (who doesn't love a cathartic moment?). Never in my life would I have figured RuneScape, of all games, would be one to make me
cry
tear up.
