Why did the Elder Gods create Underworlds if they didn't intend to create conscious life? (The obvious exceptions being the Tok-haar****-haar, etc.)

Theres nothing that says the Elder Gods directly created afterlifes or Underworlds.

They may just be reprocussions to what the Elder Gods did make, meaning they may have been produced by the Anima Mundi of the worlds.

To put this into perspective for you:

Say I create a coin, but all I want is one side of the coin to exist. No matter what I want though, there is nothing I can do to prevent the coin from having opposite side.

So therefore, by creating this coin, I have created 2 sides to it, no matter my intentions.

So the Elder Gods may not have wanted there to be life, but because they created the worlds and their anima, there will always be that flipside.

A coin is not an adequate example. The Elder Gods created worlds solely because they generated Anima, not because they wanted mortals to live and die and have a happy 'life' in an Underworld.

From what you just said, i'd say a coin is a perfect example.

You obviously didn't pay too close attention.

Yes, they may not have wanted mortals and afterlives and whatnot, but it happened anyway because one cannot exist without the other, regardless of the creator's intent.

Just saw Page 13 and I wonder, are Ripper Demons considered to be a subspecies or not? Or should we see Ripper Demons as a death squad (with a 'father' as head)?

PS I like his name :) .

I'm willing to bet they're a subspecies.

I like the idea that they are a death squad of specifically chosen demons from birth? Creation? These demons would be fed the appropriate beings needed to make them into killing machines.

though i am not sure if rippers are the non eating ones, as Zammy had some in his army.

They're avernic.
The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack.

Makes sense, but where are you getting this from?

Rippers must be Avernic because Zamorak had no Chthonians loyal to him (or if he did, it would only have been a handful of individuals).
