@johnor please, with any future replies, keep in mind the topic is not botting--there is a separate section of the forums for that--instead the topic is "Old School Content Suggestions". Also, I don't think it's wise to proudly state that you bot (?) And am a big confused how any of those replies relate to the topic at hand.

In fact it's posts like that that are making me return to my original opinion that there really isn't anything broken, but instead some inter-host drama/competition. I really got excited about the skilling variety in POHs to diversify hosts' roles, but if the goal of the other suggestions is to appease john, I get nervous about the narrative being that these are "solutions": solutions imply a problem. And the person alleging there's a problem also alleges many other problems, including about Jagex itself.... Quite the dubious source.

Anyway, I do wish we had kept that other, separate, clearer thread alive but here we are. I'll keep trying to hold onto the thread of content suggestions amidst all this.. heh

I agree. This bot hosting is ruining everything about house hosting. It has been going on forever and nothing is done about it. People have been reporting them for as long as they have been around but it does not help. What's the point of reporting rule breaking when nothing is done to stop it? A Jagex Mod should look into this bot hosting problem and solve it once and for all. It is ruining the Poh hosting for the real player hosts who are working hard and spending time to provide their Pohs for other players fairly. It says in the Rules of Runescape that the rules of Runescape are in place to ensure that playing the game is an enjoyable experience for everyone and that rules also help Jagex deal with cheating and other activities that might ruin things for players who choose to play fairly. This bot house hosting must be a very good example of cheating and activity that ruin things for players who choose to play fairly, right?

I recommend you use the report button in game. A reporter does not know what is done after their report so it's unfair to allege nothing is done. What we are discussing here is:

It is unclear to me what the actual issue with the content here is. It seems mostly focused on inter-host drama, botting accusations (which we have avenues for), and a new host wanting a streamlined experience. I think it would help if someone would provide an explanation of the content problems that we are all vaguely trying to come up with "solutions" and "suggestions" for. Anyway here is the latest list of solutions, as compiled by rabbitmeds and vaush, which do relate to content:

- Add an option to preload marrentil on the burners. I had a conversation with Mod Ash about this on twitter and he agreed it was a good idea in order to reduce botting.
- Making a ledger in a second window on the ad. board. This would include how long a
player has been hosting in a game session and how much people have donated to hosts.
- Improving banning disruptive players from a player owned house (fixing current bugs, etc), maybe add a kick specific option?
- Improve clan functionality by removing the 500 person limit per clan.
- Expanding the advertising board to accommodate more players.
- expanding on the construction skill by adding skilling functions in home

We shouldn't have to keep reminding y'all to stay on topic, and that stopping bots "once and for all" isn't some Thanos finger snap. True in any videogame. Let's focus on what can be done.

Do you host @shackg2? What are your thoughts on these conte
