Perpl, I didn't get stuck on the name.. honestly.. and I am in no way opposed to additional bank space (for everyone).
I simply asked why, given it is nothing more than additional bank space, why should it be limited to clans and if it is limited to clans, what size clans?
I wasn't suggesting it's a bad or unsupportable idea.. I did say that screwing over the solo players is not a supportable idea. So I think that in order for it to be supportable, it would need to be available to all players and not just clans (or groups of a certain size).
I think it holds potential.. for instance say in a small group of people (friends, or call it a small clan if you want) you allow each person access to a certain tab within.. but everyone can see what's in each tab.. just not take from or add to each tab (that would be reserved for whomever you gave permissions). Something like that could easily be a motivator for even small groups of peeps to have competitions amongst themselves.. like who can get the most mage logs in 'x' amount of time.. or who can place 5k shark in the chest first.. and so on.

If it truly would be a concern on iron accounts.. and because playing an iron is supposed to be doing everything yourself.. I would see nothing wrong if jagex excluded iron accounts from such an update.. but, who knows, maybe they could find a way that irons could share in self imposed 'competitions' like what your idea could offer to other groups of players?

Hi, I love this idea!
Here's an easy way to get rid of scamming:
Collateral!
Unless you're a certain rank or have permission on the clan chest you have to deposit items of equalish value in order to take something out!
That way players can't just take everything out and it should reduce scamming.
This is already a concept we have when lending friends items and is a way to stop yourself from having to make a bunch of ge transactions.
I'd also support putting in a collateral tab which players put their collateral into and can retrieve when they return the item they borrowed.
Limits set by clan admins of course.
This would also give more diversity to the items inside the chest if they're constantly changing around.
Just my thoughts.
