I want to report a scaming player in OSRS. His in-game name is
Robinacci
. It seems that he is professionally engaged in trading in-game items and coins, for the purpose of deception. Perhaps he is engaged in RMT. I think he can have several characters. It's hard for me to provide proof. I ask you to pay attention to this player.

Hey Motley! Sorry I know this is quite a while ago haha, I think there was also another scam called the "Giving 10% of the worth of your inventory"" or something, I think it works a bit similar to the rounding scam where the scammer will give you 10% of what you got but hopefully forgets you traded in what you are trading to take your goods and money

It is worst day of my life.
I have played RuneScape for 4 years and now it is happened, I was hacked. All my items were stolen. Forthermore 15 minutes before hacking I played OSRS. I dont know how my bank PIN and authenticator was cracked. It is impossible. I think it was my last day in OSRS. Thank you for all this unforgettable days. For the future, fix this problem. Authenticator and PINs were created for the safety, but the opposite was true. :(

Got scammed (baited) a couple of nights ago,

Saw rune items appear on the floor around GE, stupidly followed and went into wildy
Didn't think the wildy started so low down/thought it had a warning (I must have turned off years ago)

Promptly got killed by a group of malicious little people.

Lost Justiciar legs and Ferocious gloves, berserker ring (i), amongst a few other things.

I got back quickly to see if anything was there,

Someone called Yellow coins said "you want your stuff back?", then opened a trade with me, and closed the trade after doing nothing, then hopped world.


What exactly can be done about this kind of toxic player?
I first started playing around 2003 and have recently returned after a long break to have this happen.
Makes me sick

Jhimu1l 2 just scammed me for my osmumtens fang and 2m worth of battlestaffs. Told me to help with GE limit. only had 2m. I did like 3 trades, then they offered me 52m to just buy the rest at once but wanted my fang for collateral. I put it up. He put cash up. he took cash off and i didn't catch it and gave the dude 2m...

Three that I haven't seen on here:

• Offering a "max stack" of coins 2.147b in the form of bank tokens for all your items. The bank tokens are worth 1000gp each and they'll offer you 2147 tokens for your items (worth 2,147,000) in the hopes that you don't notice the missing zeros.

2.147b = 2,147,000,000
2.147m = 2,147,000

• Asking you to buy an item for them at an inflated price on the GE in exchange for your money back. Sometimes a player will sell an item at an inflated price on the GE and get another player to "buy it for them" because they've reached the GE limit. (or some other excuse) They received your money and you don't receive anything in return.

• Sometimes the GE/trade window prices aren't accurate. Some players will try to use this to scam you. They will try to trade you items that are worthless but if you check the trade window and GE it tells you that they do have a value.

Some people will try to use this with the "selling my bank 10m" scam. For example, a player says: "Selling bank 10m" so you trade with them, they offer items with a perceived value of 15m (according to the trade window/GE) except that they aren't worth that. The GE/trade window is NOT an accurate representation of the value of an item, use it only as a rough guide.
