I recently witnessed the best currently viable scam to date, the only one I would ever have a chance of falling for. I don't want to go into detail but let me say this:

If player1 drops a cash pile on the ground in a space where player2 has recently dropped a small number of coins and player2 immediately picks up his small number of coins, player1's stack of coins will become invisible and unclickable for a minute. After this minute it will appear to both players.

Yep, saw that in a lure video, it's a graphical glitch he exploits to get player's money. Don't ever listen to anyone telling you to drop your cash for any reason, as there are slim to none reasons for ever having to do so.

Very good thread I really hate scammers they are obviously lower level life forms cause anybody worth the oxygen they breath would not intentionally scam people. With PVP worlds people wanting you to meet at castle wars in a PVP world seems to be a semi common one as only one or two squares around the chest are safe. But the main advice is to not trust anyone if they are not willing to be up front with you they are probably trying to scam you. A decent player would never ask you to trust trade or for you to drop you items or to follow you to an unsafe location if asked add that person to your ignore list and walk away.

Someone will offer you a noted Armadyl crossbow for your items. They will decline and say oops or something like it. Next, they will trade you again and offer a noted hunter's crossbow. It looks exactly like the armadyl. then unknowingly you will except and loose all your stuff. I lost my bank today and i am quitting. So if you could find it in your hearts Jagex to ban "sleeping 2h" i would appreciate that. Just thought i should let others be aware of this new scam. Aslo, this person sold my item right it front of my face.
