Also "only" is a bigger meaning than "discontinued"
The world only means that one time only not any more.
Discontinued just means that they're not available/ Doesn't mean that they're not allowed to recontinue it tho. "Only" means 1 time only though, hence holds (i guess should?) a bigger meaning in terms of rarity.

False advertising aside at least now we know what Jagex means when they say "limited time only". Gives us the opportunity to ask for items we want back so not all bad. I want golden Barrows back, Buddy, icicle crown, Wintumber tree, and monkey cape.

Second point shadow items and drakes were flooding the game with the first release so it doesn't matter if they are released again.

Third point in my opinion untradable items should be able to come back from time to time so new players can get them. There are so many items to choose from and you can only have 1 item out at a time so it doesn't really matter.

Last point if you like some item it is better to enjoy it instead of spending time to worry what other people own.

limit or discontinued is a key word that most people ignore to see for there own good.
Yes discontinued means there are not allowed to bring them back.

Neither "limited" nor "discontinued" completely rule out an item's return. If something is described as discontinued, it may be no longer available, but that alone does not exclude it from returning.

Furthermore:
- Any item that you can keep is re tainable!
- The black santa hat was not released on TH or SoF.

Jagex clarified how "limited" it was by saying it was "only available for the next few weeks".

They didn't just say it was "a brand new, limited edition legendary pet called the shadow drake", they said it was "a brand new, limited edition legendary pet called the shadow drake, which is only available for the next few weeks".

"Only" is absolute. They didn't leave any room for manoeuvre. It's not being tricky or clever. They just went back on their word.

But as Draco Burnz has said, it's ultimately Jagex's game, "so they can do what they want" regardless of what they've said.
