Yet the only "benefit" ive seen is catering to beggars.
beggars? These items have all been desired by somebody ever since the bunny ears being the first untradeable item. Ever since then, holiday items have been sought by people, because there's 15+ years of new people and new items that many people just never had a choice to get.

It's you begging for bragging rights. Not people who never had a choice begging for second chances. You will get over it when it happens though, and likely, you will partake and buy that one or two you want. Quit being petty.

What benefit is there in preserving history that is simply left to collect dust?

Uhh im sure even if they did bring these back, ppl would do exactly what ppl are doing now.

So nothing would change in the "collecting dust" depo.

Why don't any players have any choice in extending membership for loyalty points to buy any items?

Theres been 2 polls on these so theres your answer.

Is keeping them as they are now going to extend the life of Runescape? Or is it just so you can brag about items you dont use?

Is bringing them back going to extend the life of rs?
I asked Blackwing. Not you.

4. I myself do not want a "replica". It's like buying fake pokemon games. Nobody wants a fake pokemon game in their collection. They want the real version. Strange comparison i know.

Okay so I wanted to talk about this a bit, because I have a hunch feeling I might have something to add to this, but before saying anything more, because I'm unfamiliar with Pokemon games, I'd just like clarification if you could explain to me: who makes "real" Pokemon games, and who makes the "fake" Pokemon games? What are their differences (a rough summary or so is fine)?

(I don't want to start a discussion on Pokemon games here, I just want to see where the comparison comes from/what's the thought process behind it.)

Anything not made by GameFreak/Nintendo aren't official Pokémon games.

Ok then. Even if the new owners eventually left them banked, they made the purchase which required membership. Considering the number of people without holiday items that they would buy, the profits gainable by this form of rerelease guarantees an increase in membership sales.

And with the sheer quantity of 15 years+ of holiday items, it's not going to take a simple month or 3 month membership to be able to buy them all. It's going to take a long term membership without investing those points in any of the current available things. Many might even switch from 3 months to VIP for the loyalty points given right away to invest in these.

Profits from this will be long term, and will definitely aide in extending the life of Runescape.

Nobody can do the events now, and that's a shitty reason to make Jagex lose out on a great business opportunity that, by polling, proves it would please more people than not.

The only people Not pleased want to brag about something they leave at Diango and not even use.

Just saying, but jagex had 2 prior chances to profit off them when making the polls, yet didn't.

So I don't see them changing their minds now.

Also considering you only choose to look at the polls and not what happened afterwards, just shows you truly aren't paying attention.

Just a note on this ....

If you look at the Q&A for July 2019 at about 42:00 give or take a few seconds,
On twitch. Runescape3 streams.

There is the question would Jagex bring the old halloween and Christmas
event items back with lootscape like they did the Thanksgiving event items
last year.

The answer is NO and they dont see them coming back in any way.

I just thought I would put this in so people wanting to know Jagex stance
on this would have an answer.

We have all the right in the world to continue asking and Jagex has a passing poll that gives them the green light to change their mind at any time for any reason.

If you, or anybody, has to hate Jagex for it, that's on you. They are a business and will survive without you, especially when they give everybody else more reason to buy membership.
