Maybe said players shouldn't have left the event unfinished.

Fail to see how that's jagex's fault as they didn't prevent them from completing them?

Every single new player who joined after any event ever had no choice in doing the events. Preserving history for the few left who did them is pointless. It benefits nobody. Like I said at least if Jagex sold them to loyalty showing customers, they could extend the life of the game.

I expect Jagex to make items that are simply fun clothes and toys available to those who show them loyalty. Instead of catering to some entitled bragging rights wrongly placed on toys.

I'll say it again, I doubt any current owners actually use their items much at all, besides the new ones that come out each new year. They collect dust more than they get used. And preserving historic value just so it can collect dust is a shitty reason to shun every single new person from choosing if they want to spend extra loyalty points on them, so they actually have a purpose again.

Yours is still original. Mine is still original. I can get over it being replicated in an instant, why can't you?

Said this in my previous post, people did the events when the events came back, and did not get the rewards. So saying people didn't do them and thus don't deserve them is false.

Also said this, what benefit is there in keeping them as they are? The items collect dust in Diango. Most people you claim "value them" leave them untouched for years. Why should being left in an extra bank space be their purpose when they can be used by more people and extend the game itself?

No. It's a tetchy area, a lot of people do value them. Shauny is not a fan of giving people rewards for an event they did not partake in. We have in select periods selectively pulled out some of them but we don't want to make a wholesale thing of it.

Huh, the curious thing here is that Shauny, from what I've seen, is one of the few RS3 jmods who actually plays the damn game, so it's fitting that such a jmod would value game integrity over handouts just for the sake of handouts.

Anyway, amidst all the bad decisions Jagex has made, it's good that for a change, they chose to be just, rather than sell the game out for petty short term gains.

can you answer the questions I asked Draco?

What benefit is there in preserving history that is simply left to collect dust?

What do you gain from them not doing anything?

What does Jagex gain in doing nothing?

Why don't any players have any choice in extending membership for loyalty points to buy any items?

Why is this "short term profit" short term? And why does it hurt you?

Is keeping them as they are now going to extend the life of Runescape? Or is it just so you can brag about items you dont use?


If you don't answer I'm assuming your stance is only self-righteous and not actually the better choice.

Uhh im sure even if they did bring these back, ppl would do exactly what ppl are doing now.

So nothing would change in the "collecting dust" depo.
