Jagex gains nothing from them being discontinued, players gain nothing from them being discontinued.

The only value that comes with that, is preserved by our suggestions of changing the Solomon's Versions.

Discontinued Rares are meant to be discontinued, but those are still obtainable in game. Why are those obtainable but these aren't?

Also, Iron already said this, but you are also asking for Solomons store to get discontinued items with your partyhat suggestion. So anything you say here is void of any credibility.

What else do you have to say?

I didnt know this was about any other threads besides this one so might be wise to only discuss the topic at hand.

Jagex seems to gain quite a lot from this otherwise they wouldve rereleased them by now.

As for the discontinueds, they arent able to be obtainable otherwose they wouldnt be "discontnued".

You can only "obtain" what already in the game nothing new enters.

Partyhats are discontinued. But they are obtainable.

These are discontinued but are not obtainable.

You support Original partyhats in Solomon's, which will kill a REAL value.

You dont support Edited Versions of these in Solomon's. Which won't kill any Real, or Artificial Values.

Why the contradiction?

And can you please tell me what anybody gains with them being discontinued? I see literally nothing that anybody can gain with them as they are.

Exactly, which is the way they should stay.

You're pretty much asking for quest rewards w/o having to do said quest.

If you choose to miss out jagex shouldnt have to give you a second, third etc chances.

This is nothing like quests, actually this is exactly like Replica Armors. Plus, This is something Jagex proposed in the first place.

People here complaining, complain that the items currently show loyalty, which isn't actually true, but for shits and giggles we've negotiated past that.

These are not going to be the exact same item, they will have a noticeable difference to them, meaning the Loyalty shown by the originals is superior to the Loyalty shown by the version bought with Loyalty Points.

This is exactly like buying Replica Armors on Solomon's. Only these are Replica Warlock Suits, Replica Santa Suits, Replica Yo-Yo's, Replica Halloween Scythes. Replica Bunny Ears.

Jagex gave us second chances on the old armors people liked before the EoC armor update, and Jagex have asked to give us second chances on these, with a large majority Yes vote.

Honestly there is no reason they shouldn't do this. and that reason you gave, my quote, is not a viable reason to avoid it. There is no logic behind it and it would make zero difference whether they did it or not.

Your Partyhat suggestion, however, this reason you gave to avoid replica cosmetics, would be a huge reason to avoid replica Partyhats, because there is a real value on Partyhats that you are destroying with your Solomon's suggestion.

Still seems like yo dont understand the point that they arent meant to return in any way, shape or form.

Doesnt matter if its a different color or what have you, if it returns at all it defeats the point in doing holiday events at all.

Plus if anything i dont see them being sold for LP as jagex would obviously make money off this by selling them for RC.

Then why do you suggest cosmetic partyhats return? You contradict everything you say here by making your partyhat suggestion.

Chances are, If Jagex sold them, it would be for Loyalty Points. Read the question in my picture of the poll question Jagex asked. Question was: Holiday Items for Loyalty Points?

I don't care who thinks they shouldn't come back, it'd be better for everybody if they did. There is not one negative consequence.

I have my reasons and you should read the thread for the answers.

Anywho back to the topic at hand here:

Why would they do that when theyd make exactly 0% profit off of them?

You dont seem to be thinking about the bigger picture here.

Selling for loyalty points promotes membership sales.

Also, for Loyalty Points, players would have to be frugal with their buying, because unlike Runecoins which can be bough at any quantity at any time. Loyalty points have to be given to you for membership. So you won't just see everybody buying every set right away, making it more important to buy them when you really want it, rather than just buying it because you can.

Dont say you have your reasons if you can't explain them when it's important. I have my reasons for supporting this and I make them known. Saying nothing means your opinion is worth nothing.
