You are the one claiming theres actually a good reason to avoid it. I've looked, and I've given explanations how the few personal reasons don't matter enough to stop the potential update. Because the solutions have been given to those complaints I found.

If you can explain it better, do it.

Otherwise, leave the thread for those willing to talk about it. Or I'll report you as off topic trolling. Again.

If they put them on solomons and when you examine you clearly can
tell its from solomons that wouldnt be so bad.

Sorta goes along with what i was saying many many pages back about
putting "copy" for ones after or a date that it was gotten..
Or put original if a person already has it... I only used the first option
as I was thinking as they coded it for an SGS version be easier to add
than going back to original's and adding original onto it.

I dont care if its done or not.. i think I cared at one time. Now I dont
care as long as you can obviously tell which is the version gotten
originally and the new purchased version.

Not here to argue or anything but asking lots of older players, some
been on friends list 12 plus years..most say they dont want old things
in solomons they want new things they can use.

Dont know if there is an easy solution to this.... The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

if that were true the the poll would of failed, but it didn't , the poll was a simple question "do you want to buy items from solmons for loyalty points" and more people said yes then no thus the poll passed, don't know why you say otherwise as there was no percent requirement like in oras to pass meaning people don't want them discontinued anymore, further proof is all the complaints on here about not getting the proper items for clearing the past events during the 2016 xmas event that really upset people that they couldn't get the items for doing the event that rewards it. also there is no problem with releasing the items into the store as you arnt getting the actual item just a cosmetic copy of it which does no harm

Yes there is harm in this as holiday items are meant to be discontinued once the event ends.

If they did this they wouldnt be so anymore.

a cosmetic copy is not the same as the psychical item you still wont be getting the item , just the override sure it looks the same but its not the same. the holiday items would still be discontinued cause you cant get the item ,just a copy of it and there is nothing wrong they arnt even tradeable so it doesn't harm the game in any way it only harms the greedy little 5 year old people that your acting like by not shareing your toys. a cosmetic from solmon is NOT[/b
b] the same as the actual item it just looks the same, why cant people see the clear difference

What does them being discontinued actually do for anybody?

You want to treat it like an item that shows loyalty to the game? Then what's wrong with newer players spending loyalty points to obtain them?

Fact is, Ironman is right, there was no requirement saying it had to pass a specific threshold of voters. It passed because there was a majority in favor with no specific minimum. I've seen other ideas happen with less. Not to mention this is something people have been asking for ever since holiday items stopped being tradable almost 15 years ago.

Again, iron is right when he says these can easily be made obviously new items. If it really matters that yours is original, you dont have anything to complain about.

Obviously Jagex would be fine with putting them up for sale, they asked for permission to do so. The vote had a majority passing vote, and that can increase their business.

Care to give any actual reason why it's not a good idea?

says the person that wants party hats on here which would damage the game as they are tradeables ,if you see no probs with your game suggestion that means that you should have no issue with them rerealseing the untradeable items cause it does no harm .
