And since I've seen several mod posts complaining that we are not constructive enough in our criticism, well, read this:
Item 1 - You sell xp and RSGP *on a randomized basis* through SOF. Since it is randomized, you use semantics to defend your actions, stating that you do "not directly sell gold or xp" while not denying that you are doing so indirectly. This is ridiculously transparent and of course players have caught on. The fact that there is no clear correlation between real life currency spent and xp / RSGP received does not change the fact that you are selling both.
Item 2 - You sell bankspace, which does affect gameplay, on a MT store which you promised us would never sell items that affect gameplay. Caught in a blatant lie, your only excuse is that more bankspace is such a miniscule advantage that it might not be an advantage at all. You are ignoring the fact that the problem here is not the bankspace per se - the problem is that you have broken your word and that you are selling an - however miniscule - ingame advantage at Solomon's Store. Look up "slippery slope".
Now, here are the solutions to both problems:
1. Make it so that xp lamps, pendants and statted / tradeable items are only avalable on free / earned spins and bought spins can get purely cosmetic, untradeable (I'm looking at you, fish mask!) items only. Once you do this, no one can accuse you of selling xp or RSGP with a straight face - you are just giving them away.
2. Remove bankspace from SGS and ensure that all future SGS items are cosmetic only and give no ingame advantage. Voila, you will have kept your promise to us, your paying customers.
3. As an added bonus, make it possible to win SGS items with bought spins - after all, SGS items are supposed to be cosmetic in nature, and I just explained to you why bought spins should give cosmetic items only.
Was that constructive enough to finally warrant an answer?
Once you go NXT, you never go back.
