I swear Jagex, I've been waiting for news on this for almost exactly 3 years now (RuneTek 5). That screenshot alone completely validates the claim that you've got big things in store for us. As for html 5: very exciting. You're making me a very happy 'scaper.
As for the people who can't stop giving you abuse, and it really is that, often times completely ridiculous, shameless verbal abuse, how do I say this... well I know you're a company and it'd look pretty terrible if you told even a small amount of your player base (which the people up in arms really are) to civilize themselves (or just shut up) and get on with it - so let me do it for you:

From an objective standpoint Jagex has been very open about updates involving micro-transactions. They have come out and said, literally from the very beginning, that they must introduce a further source of revenue to uphold and expand their development. You act like you haven't been getting gold farmer spam. Do have any idea how stupid you sound comparing sof and sgs to actual RWT? It'd be the most ridiculously non-competitive enterprise since the beginning of capitalism. If you feel you must make a stand and object to sometime Jagex is doing that's fine, but please practice your didactic to the point where you can do more than just gush unreasonable accusations and rage. Please also use the appropriate places to express yourselves. Sof, sgs, and micro transaction discussions just don't belong in the discussion threads of Hunter D&D updates.
