@baby Dogs - They did this before where they release a letter tryna show us they care. My thing is, why wait? Why wait almost a full year an we now get a respone on micro-transcations? Players have been asking for something from Jagex since they released SoF, yet no1 uttered a word...
Jagex Customer Support is very low. There's no way at all to contact someone at Jagex unless your youtube famous known them for years in there clan chat...
The live stream was way to long an a fail... Way to laggy, an important people i wanna hear from isnt there... You can answer as many questions as u want, but we all know nothing will be done if we say we want it done. We'll have to wait years an years...

Dirty Visage, I agree with you. More communication between Jagex and the players is needed. If they tell us what something is for, and they do exactly that, not something different than what they first said, then there will be more understanding with Jagex from the players.
In a post a few pages back, another player mentioned they know many people who bought spins and won the 200 million prize. Must be nice. I was at the exchange a while ago, and someone there won the 200 mil, you know why? Their combat level was over 120, most quests completed and their lowest skill was 92. Or they spent at least $500 on spins. I have been in Runescape since January of this year, a member shortly after and saw the squeal when it was first implemented. Over all this time, I noticed that the wheel is fixed, if you want better prizes, complete more of the game. Very rare prizes have about a 10% chance of getting that prize, I call bull. I have an abyssal whip and a dragon platebody, but I will never get any of them from the wheel because of my game progress or the inability to buy more spins. I confess I have bought about 5 of the new $25 cards in the past month, got the runecoins and spins for each card. Never once did I get 200 mil, or the 400 mil on the double coin weekend. Never did I get any lucky equipment, or the huge lamp either. I usually get 5+ med lamps, 7+ small lamps, 100k and maybe if I am lucky, a skill pendant. The wheel is a fixed pay to get money and xp method. The more you spend, the better prizes you get. As I said, 10% chance for the very rare prize, not so if you spend $250+ on spins. The wheel is rigged, because my clan leader hasn't spent a penny on buying spins, and he hasn't got one pendant since they added them to the wheel. If you cannot afford to give Jagex money for spins, too bad, so sad. Mommy and daddy should have got a better job so you can buy more success in Runescape. Jagex says I am wrong? The wheel is proof, and Jagex's actions say otherwise.
Even the smallest person can change the course of the world. Problem is that I am too short to reach the steering wheel. ^_^

I can see why you want the GP/XP off the Squeal, as do many others. I fail to see your logic behind everything else. Soloman's Shop is purely cosmetic other than the bank space, which if I recall, WAS A SUGGESTION FROM THE COMMUNITY. I have absolutely no problem with being able to buy that extra bank space, as you are really limited as it is with all the new quests and items coming out.
RuneCoins were meant to be a micro-transaction, and will stay that way. There will never be a way to 'obtain' RuneCoins in the game, and if there is, it would be a one time event. Being able to buy spins is probably the best thing they did with the Squeal. The amount of money they generated to put back in the game is huge, thus the reason for all the updates this month.
I hope you realize, they are going to need it as well. The upcoming bot update, if like a year ago, will make them lose a lot of players. Even though these players are still bots, the memberships on the P2P accounts were still purchased. Getting rid of the bots cuts mass amounts of cash flow to go into the game, and not having a counter weight will throw off the income balance.
Is this what you want? For Jagex to get rid of the bots AND take itself down too? This community needs to realize the precautions and measures that need to be taken in order to make up for something such as that. You want the bots gone? Fine. But when Jagex creates a way to help them from losing money from the population of bots no longer paying for membership, don't complain.
This community expects too much from Jagex.

It's funny how people say they hate sof, yet use their spins just because others do. Just because of the annoying pop-up. Just to see how it is rigged when they don't win.
Stop complaining. I actually like sof. It gives me what, 1k xp once a day, I get the same amount in like a minute if I can be bothered to do so. It gives me a bandos chestplate, I was going to buy one but now I can use my money on something else. It's not game-breaking or anything. I still have to do things to achieve things.
I'm pretty cool
