RuneScape is unique for the aspect of choices/multiple skills. But with EoC coming in play, this game is as good as any other game (combat-wise). WoW and LoL are the two games that require an activity bar and I like the current combat system, it is the most unique of any other game.

Still not admitting that the SoF is a huge micro transaction bank :/ I wouldn't mind the SoF is there either if
1: Remove the XP gain and gold in the SoF. to prevent people being able to almost garuntee being able to buy xp with cash, because it's making it easier for the extremely wealthy to get their 99s without having to work on it. Making it just a cosmetics thing just as Solomons
Or
2: Take out being able to buy spins from the SoF.
Yet here they are openly saying that this Micro-Transaction is the lesser of the two evils that of botting, gold spammers, and RWT's. Even though they stated ages ago that no such thing of Micro-Transactions will ever be implemented into this game. Backstabbing the players who have enjoyed and respected this game/company for the longest time. A wise suggestion is to keep truthful and keep those promises you make and maybe you wont be losing so many members and be able to make more money through the memberships that you have lost over broken promises.
However the game has been amazing for the 7 years i have been with RS and watched it change dramatically. Some for the better, some for things that were not needed to be changed/added. Stop the SoF and Solomons updates and work on some issues that need to be addressed.
A Helpful hint: Players post issues/suggestions that should be highly looked at via forums. And also, Loyalty shop hasn't had any kind of adjustments in content whatsoever so get at it please.

I think the whole problem with the SOF is that it isn't actually part of the game. Maybe if you gave it an actual area in the runescape world then it would be less of a mess. It would also make the SOF take some time to do and not just something you click for items. All you would really have to do is just setup a building with a crazy wheel and it could still use the wheel. The whole point of it though is to make players have to sacrifice something to go there and do it... Time :D But If it is too big of an area players will be more enraged.
P.S. Same with SGS?

At the risk of repeating someone on a previous page, if every item in the squeal can be converted to coins (with the exception of coins, of course) then how can you say that you aren't selling gold? Admittedly it's not £x for y coins, but it is pounds for coins.
Personally, the issue I have with squeal is how invasive it is. You get a popup right in the middle of the screen when you have your spins, and you get a message every time you log in saying how much time there is until you get more. Then there's the adverts for Solomon's store and Squeal that pop up when you log into a world, and the Sizzling Summer nonsense that you don't even have the option of turning off completely.
Improved client sounds great though, and less gold spammers/ bots will be very welcome.

Great to hear some good news about the future of Runescape, i just want to take the time to say that i have played Runescape for quite some time now and been through all the good and bad updates. There have definitely been alot more good updates then bad!
A big thanks to all the J mods who play the game and understand the feelings and frustrations towards certain aspects of the game!
I'm still not a big fan of the EoC update but i will try it out whenever it is deemed "Ready" for release.
In conclusion,
Looking forward to seeing all the newly implemented security and bot banning features =) I hope you see my in game reports, because i do quite alot.
