@ Capn- You could be able to make a bit of a case that SoF affects RWTers (I'd argue that people will RWT anyway 'cuz it's a better value, but people may just trust Jagex more than gold selling sites), but I really, REALLY doubt SGS has had a significant effect on the RWT trade. SGS items are bought purely to make a character look cooler, and I seriously doubt whether anyone is risking their cash and account RWTing just to buy some prettier pixels. Far more likely they're after high value skills or equipment.
@ Myst- People against the SoF are generally angry because of the advantages available through buying spins, and for some reason (heavens know why) they decide to rant against the entire thing rather than just the buyable part of it. I'd guess that quite few of them would actually have cared all that much about the SoF if buyable spins were never released.
On SGS..personally, I don't care all too much about this one. The one concern I feel is legitimate is the one people have raised about a few of the skilling animations (e.g. Lumberjack WCing), saying that they should have been regularly released graphical updates and that their placement in the SGS may make Jagex reluctant to update the current animations in the future, as the SGS animations would be devalued in relation to them.
Also, does no one else hate Solomon's manner of speech in this newspost? -.- He sounds like he's trying to be sophisticated and comes off as slightly pompous, in my opinion.
