Ten Pages of Negative comments.
SoF and SGS don't have a place in this game, many of these things should'ave been graphical updates or hidden extras doing quests or something? I'm glad I cancelled membership, Runescape is starting to look more and more like a nexon game:
Front page advertises Cash shop items, content updates don't appear for a while.
I personally am disgusted by the whole thing, whoever supports this, to each his own. But I believe that runescape has no place for this kind of thing.

Solomon's store is beginning to annoy me...are they going to put all the graphical updates to our gear and animations in here? I get headbutt mining, that's unique in and of itself. But the potion making, woodcutting, fishing, and alchemy should be included in a game update, not sold for $5 a piece. Honestly.
And now...A graphical update for the whip and they expect us to pay extra for it. They wont steal my money at least.

while i think that these cosmetic items don't hurt anyone and can only be good for us players in the long run with regards to actual game development, it is becoming rather frustrating with how frequently these are coming out, and how almost every update of late is based on solomon or SoF.
we get it, you guys want this to push forward and help make the game successful (putting it politely), but the severe lack if actual game content updates is just disheartening. there's little to no actual game development as of late. the last big update was the runespan, and the quests have been fairly minor (some like it cold being the first major quest in a very long time).
we get that the game needs to be more profitable, but stop sacrificing game development for that cause.

Please stop, Jagex. This is getting really irritating. Please, stop and listen to us.
Why make them weapons you have to BUY instead of monster drops or quest rewards? Maybe you're getting money from real world trading now, but in the long run it seems that you'll just lose all your players. Or if some stay, they'll just be the ones who've given in to real world trading and the game will become a sad shadow of its former self; one where the goal is to be the one who looks the prettiest and give Jagex the most money, not develop your character and actually have FUN. Do you really want your amazing creation to end up like that? Just a money making machine that doesn't actually give anyone any enjoyment?
I've really enjoyed Runescape, so I'm trying to hang on and tell myself I can still play the game the way it was meant to be played. But with all your real world trading I'm not sure I can do that for much longer... :|
