Fairwell Runescape, So sad
runescape is going to lose all the pure advertisement through pk vids
lmao i feel like this is a knockoff of another game . :-\
i used to play rs for hrs on hrs.
now its just bull crap.
Theres enough people that are buying the solomon crap + squeal so they'll keep shoveling out more content. making u guys(who dont buy sof/sgs crap) waste your months waiting for good content.
SOOOO SAD.
Im quitting now so i Can Remember all the good times,Values and life lessons.
I also realised, most people that play runescape try to make the best character because in life they cant be the best person they want to be.

I have been playing RuneScape for nearly 10 years now and I must say the complaining never seems to end. There have been so many good and bad updates over the years and RuneScape has stood tall through all the backlash. There are a lot of things I have come to really not like about the updates; main one being that instead of clicking each item by hand to get 99 in a skill everyone can let it auto you to 99. That is not how I was brought up to use the game and when first implemented it upset a LOT of people. Every single person that had gotten a level 99 skill by hand now had to sit and watch as everyone made it with no problem. Removing the wild as well as free trade upset a lot of long time players and even caused a great deal of members to quit. It took a long time for them to give it back to us. Still, a large number of the players stuck by them and played RuneScape.
Sof - If you don't like it or it's gifts then don't play it. I like it and I like the silly little things you can get from it, especially during the sizzling summer. I love the Shark fists, beach ball, water balloons, and emotes. It is something to do outside of training and trying to level up.
Solomon - Yeah, that one if a bit annoying. Especially when you consider there is no way to earn the stuff and it is all high priced. I think a price drop in the items would prove to be a better change for it than totally removing it. Money makes the world go round and agreeing with this store or disagreeing is not going to change it. They have the right to make a profit from this game. It is not free to run RuneScape. The staff does not work for free. Who cares if they want to make more money than the average person? Don't we all? Don't condemn them for wanting something everyone wants. More money.

Combat Evolution - Going to be honest, there are a LOT of people that like this change. I have seen more people excited about the change than against it. There were a lot of people against the RS 2 update. People wanted to keep just RSC. Again, the majority were happy and excited to play RS 2 and it brought about a whole new set of players. You may not like it but there are a lot of people who would prefer this new way of combat style.

Bots- They have always been here and as long as people keep buying gold from the websites then there always will be. I agree, doing a huge sweep to get rid of bots would be great but it is not a permanent solution. They will be back. Each time they implement a way to keep the previous bots out a new way to keep them in arises. A good solution would probably be to do a sweep every few months just to keep it down a bit. More bot sweeps would probably prevent them from coming back so often and so fast.
Newer game content - I would love to see that but then again I am seeing newer content everyday since I have a returning member after being gone a while. I think newer items, I have no idea how long some of these things have been in RS, would probably be a great addition but of course all that takes time.
TL;DR
Jagex has a right to make money how they see fit
Solomon should have lower prices or a way to earn runecoin
Sof is fun for some and they wouldn't update it up people didn't ask for it.
Combat Evolution may get rid of some current loyal players but open the game up to a new type of player. A large number of players are looking forward to the change.
OPTION: Maybe leave an option for RS2 to be left playable like RSC?
Bots - more frequent sweeps to discourage them from returning.

The weapon skins shouldn't be for all weapons, that way when you show off, people won't instantaneously know whether it's a good weapon (like a dragon 2h) or a bad one (like a bronze 2h).
Each weapon should have its own alternative set of skins, EXCLUSIVE to that weapon, so no excuses can be made etc. etc. If you can't be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove someone's sadness.

Are you seriously THAT stupid? If Jagex knew 100% sure that the EoC is going to kill the game, why would they even consider releasing it in the first place? Human stupidity really doesn't have any limits >____<

You could of made these a reward from a quest you know, but oh no you have to make that little extra money on the side, you would think that this game was 100% f2p with the amount of microtransactions. Online gaming is such a waste of time and money now.

every new kid that buys runecoins or spins is a new kid not buyin botted gold.
very soon bots will start to come down. everytime somthing new is put on squeel or solomons shop its a kick in the nuts to real world traders.

its time to speak up jagex an admit what is going on. i look like a crazy person with tin hat when i tell people runecoins an spins is a direct attack against real world traders. Please take a few moments to observe the reality around you.
