I get that people are upset because they see new updates and expect something given to them. Well like most games, you can't continue with certain parts unless you buy them. Sims is a good example and it is very popular still.
Also since all of this is cosmetic, and has 0% effect on how one skills, why the uproar?
If you don't like it, simply don't participate. If you dislike RWT then don't do it.
However if you are like myself and can toss five bucks here and there because 5 bucks isn't hard to get, then have fun with new play toys. It's not like Jagex is making this update and forcing anyone to do it.
Jagex is a huge business and I'm sure they aren't doing Soloman and SOF to hurt themselves. If these two things were that unpopular by the players they would remove them. If majority rules, then they stay.
Final Words Of Wisdom: If you don't like cosmetic stuff, do one of the thousands of other activities on Runescape. I don't like farming but you don't see me complaining about it all the time.

I like SoF kinda and loyalty shop kinda and this might have potential, but you need to change A LOT. THIS IS AT THIS MOMENT THE WORST PART IN THE GAME and that's saying a lot. maybe if you added more too the avatar customization tab that is not Solomon. like adding all the loyalty outfits or something too it if this was done i might like solomon. Thanks for you time :)

K-on ends with Yui, Mio, Ricchan and Mugi playing "Tenshi ni Fureta yo!" for Azu-nyan after their graduation. The song was written just for her as a gift for putting up with them.

Why they couldn't award all of this in-game is beyond me. Of course there may be extra profit from selling it, but RWT is a short-term benefit and will destroy the community and therefore Jagex's profits in the long run.

I see no problem with a game wanting to get profit. I mean they ask a reasonable amount for membership, I see no problem with them saying:
"Since you like our game so much we offer many in game items for members and non members, not to mention constant updates and our recent armor and item graphic changes. So if YOU CHOOSE to, you can buy some other stuff that you can use to make yourself look unique."
Nothing wrong with a company trying to sell things to its consumers.

@zozo daemon and Darkstead: The reason why so many of us are angry is that we now get Sof/Soloman updates INSTEAD of actual gameplay content. The updates this year have been cheap and terrible (for the most part) and this is why everyone is getting upset.
I'll be honest, I look forward to updates more now than i did before SOF came out, because now updates that are good are so rare it's unbelievable!
