High, I actually have a pretty grand life, met my husband on here actually, and have two fantastic kids (both currently napping while I fold towels and skill) Doesn't mean I'm not saddened to see what RS has become in the last 5 years I've been relatively absent. So while you lecture me, know you have no idea what goes on behind any screen, and don't worry about MY real life. Well I can't say I mind the XP, considering Runescape is notorious for being a massive timesink to gain access to things, but the rest I'm awful curious about.
Either Jagex is being very nice, or for some reason, they really, desperately need people to not cancel their subscriptions in August or September.
Is there an inspection of some kind coming up? A tournament of statistics? Some kind of advertisement campaign planned based on subscribers?
Also, I imagine these "powerful items" will be tied to PvE only or some such. Still awkward and nearing the edge of pay to win (It's still the natural subscription you would pay anyway, just more important), but not as terrible as letting them be PvP active.
