Free xp have no problem with. With removal of bonus xp weekends the items like mad may necklace are a nice change (still havent used mine though :P ) instead of grinding away throughout weekend you can just use the necklace or whatever item may be at your own pace and not have to worry about being on all weekend to maximize xp.
Extra spins...we all know they love promoting this squeal..we'll just use our bonus spins claim our prize..ppl will rage on forums as usual.. And life will move on
Now as for this "Choose Your Fate". Just please...what the heck is this... Be a member for 2 months..and get some all powerful weapon??? Like really...how do you come up with these ideas!? Sure you can dg for a couple weeks and get a chaotic, but from way this sounds, these weapons will outclass even those. And as a bonus..you dont even have to play the game...just pay ur member fee...*facedesk*

Edit: May not necessarily be a weapon, but by using term "powerful item" sounds like it has to be something with stats. How else can you classify an items as "powerful"?

i seriously hope people arent comparing rewards for being a member to buying xp. other than that, i really can't wait im gonna buy a 90 day card just to make sure in case there is a billing problem with my card :) :D ^_^ :P

i dont see why people are complaining about this. i have recuring membership. so correct me if im wrong, but its not a scheme for jagex to take our money here in any different way from aside aside from the 5.95-7.00 already being payed for said membership. according to said reward they are giving to loyal players that can either (a). be able to use recuring membership. (b). someone who had bought a 3 month card. or (c). someone collected a couple 1 month cards or new 10$ cards. the freedom to get some pretty much long term holiday items. in regards to the choose your fate, they as in jagex. have stated that they are items, in deep speculation everyone jumps to conclusion thet they have to be weapons.. they can simply be items with eversogreat effects like idk make your person float where-ever they walked. thats just speculation. waiit till next week to start complaining about thing you aren't willing to let be explained

Alright. Im totally liking this.
I had to much fun using my mad may necklace and now we get to do it again not once but TWICE. sounds good to me.

everybody whos thinking its weapons. you probably are right BUT they said ITEMS. ITEMS are not always a WEAPON.
Maybe its high time they brought out some good non-dung necklaces or even some cool new rings to replace the oh so past-tense dagganoth ones
