So instead of winning over members with actual game content, they would rather focus on getting members in for the short term 1 or 2 months? "woohooo lets give away a free gift to people that just sign up for the promo period" Ever think about giving away something to those that have been loyal members throught the years? I understand there is money to be made and new players need to be brought in, but don't forget about the players that have got you here. Find some balance here. :@

I hadn't thought of that until now, and yet, it makes a good bit of sense to me.
On another note, I'm sure this post will get lost in the pages, but maybe we should wait until they release more information regarding the weapons next week before turning into 5 year olds and whining.

I really hope these new weapons are not better than the Chaotic's which take an enormous amount of time and effort to get, it would be a real shame if every member was miraculously awarded incredibly good items for no work at all, where is the fun in that?

Thanks for giving away lvl 1-73 in any skill. That is without counting spins. With probally like 77. And ooh some outfits too! I love you JaGeX!
And that is without mentioning the other EPIC updates you have been/going to be doing- solomon's general store, evolution of combat, ganoderpic, crucible, new f2p wheel and new armour updates!

Well if Evolution of Combat hits in August/September, and it's making such a fracas, it does make sense to have some form of subscription incentive. Now I'm not going to argue whether or not it was handled properly - I'm just going to take my winnings and walk out the back door.
