Their Live Streams and Month Ahead among other announcements are their "guides". I am highly doubtful Jagex will spend time on writing 9000 word essays for any Wiki. In fact, you can easily see most Wiki contributors quoted their sources from Live Streams. This is hardly going to change, Fandom or new Wiki, regardless.

The "other games" also don't write essays. Live Streams are pretty much their official game "guides" too.

Thank you, every little bit of info about the game is a lot of help for us players that at times find themselves totally lost when trying to accomplish extracurricular in game activities...

Thanks to all that have ever written a word in the internet about RuneScape via an essay, images, videos etc. good or bad just because; great and good things come out of good and bad things.

Any information about how to play the game, or new events and what's happening at Jagex is better than none.

erm we are paying for this game. A free game sure they can not release info, release it to their friends via other methods so they can be first as they do now but we are paying for a service they are not giving when they are not releasing the info in a place we can get it without making new accounts elsewhere. Fine use somewhere else but then link it officially from this website in an obvious place so we know it's legit!

They don't have time to write a guide but they have time to write so many hours of code including giving people stupid titles for arse kissing? Priorities should be customers surely if they want to remain in business. Up to them entirely, I can find other games to spend hundreds of pounds a year on anytime.

Anyway that went a bit off topic but on the whole the wiki up until now has been really good and I do love it. Thanks to the writers but presumably they do it because they want to, I don't think a title was needed, a lot of people in this forum have written more words towards the game, not all I agree with. I've been here 17 yrs writing, do i get a "Forum Asshole" title?

TBH, wiki related titles don't really mean a lot, especially many users still continue to edit the old Fandom Wiki as I speak.

The incorrect info here is compelling me to correct it. For one, the wiki title has BEEN in the game for about a year or so now. For another, the title removal is temporary. Also, it's not "mod worship", it's "contribute towards the most informative source for this game to earn the title. You hear that? "EARN". Not "suck up", we aren't that kind of source of info that'll do that.

As a very long-time wikian, it hurts to see anyone at all bash on our hard work. But I suppose people like you will never be happy with anything. I must reiterate that Jagex does not own the wiki and is only funding its place on the internet so we can get away from an abusive host.

But hey, maybe some of you wiki detractors actually like unrelated popup ads that take up space and vomit up malware, autoplaying videos that barely mention the title and contents of the article, security bugs that FANDOM has yet to fix until someone abuses it, and other crap like this that make it less than beneficial to stay there. If that's the case, be my guest to stay on Wikia and hate on Jagex for supporting a great encyclopedia. As for me, I'll keep using and editing the new wiki.

Just...please educate yourself before making a judgement. Oh, I almost forgot.

as if people who are motivated to complete things, and find it fun, or helpful to do so just shouldn't, because "elitism", and heaven forbid they get any sort of recognition. Do you not know what mentality drives, leads, and builds all of civilization? Your mentality leads me to believe you do little more than "just exist" while others fuel the world around you. Be motivated, make a name for yourself, don't be afraid to be great....or you know, complain about other people who are doing that, thats fine too.
