In other news, I'm happy that some of the technical issues are worked out. Please, if y'all have any feedback regarding the designs of the wikis, or anything else, submit them to us using the feedback button at the top of every page.

/w [query] would be nice, though integration means trust, which is a bit lacking when it comes to a 4 minute old edit from an unknown IP. However, I think a first time disclaimer would be enough to remind newer players to stay on their toes, if necessary.
Are you going to keep your talk page the way it is, cook? :^) Even though I'm sure no one reads those.
As for my opinion that no one asked for, I never felt comfortable with wikia. Though it seems like my fears were unfounded, as your breakup seems to be going relatively amicably. I might dabble with some calcs, now that I know the wiki is in good hands.
Hoping for years of goodwill between Jagex and Weird Gloop! I'm sure things will only improve from here on out.

This is great news in my opinion. Wikia has gone downhill fast with all the extra crap it has like links to other wikis, the bar on the bottom of the page, and the sheer amount of ads that slow the site down to a crawl.
Well done on the wikis. It has good info for the game.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed other, earlier fanpages too. Runevillage, Runhq, tip.it.
All have done a well job too!
Too bad they weren't aided as the wiki-project does.
Just to clarify some complaints about "the Wikian" title, it is absolutely
not
a popularity contest, and it has nothing to do with sucking up to the admins.
Anybody who makes regular quality edits to the wiki is eligible for the title. You just have to post a request for it, and people (other community members, not just admins) will have a look at your edits and decide if you've earned it.

The wiki page are way to bright white and it hurts my eyes. I will stick with Runehq thank you.
A dark theme is planned! We just didn't have it ready for the move.

Cool, I think one of my old computers picked up a virus about 5 years ago or so from runescape.Wikia.com browsing. I still use them but I'm constantly reminded to x out as soon as I'm done getting information.
Hats off to all the contributors / editors of the RS Wiki.
Best wishes to all.
