This is a slightly concerning prospect as it feels that it is somewhat admitting that you are out of the loop on what the players wish to have in the game.
They've been "out of touch" a long long time.
But sometimes they rectify that by doing surveys.
For better or worse, it tends to end up "popular vote", which sometimes doesn't make for good content. Like skill pets for example, so many are too similar, designed by little kids, lame basically. They should've just allowed you to CHOOSE one of the two upon gaining the "token"... But no, the dictatorship stuff never ceases. That's just a minor example. There are far more severe that have been damning to the gameplay and features, as well as "replayability".
They can't get new memberships easily because there's too much BS content that leads to nowhere and does nothing exciting, yet it stays in-game and isn't refined in a useful manner (and many like minigames could! By adding them to quest-lines, etc.).
Clan:
I'd like to see "prestige" added to skills where we could reset a skill at 200m xp back to zero. (Dungeoneering at the very least)
I'd like to see level capes, eg all levels to 10, all levels to 20 etc upgraded to add colored smoke matching cape color for all levels to 110, all levels to 120, etc.
I am going to be looking for this one . Might I also suggest those whom were sent the emails to participate in the survey be give a message in their message center ? this way players know its not a phishing site and don't auto delete it ?
figured that may be a good Idea ......also mr Blackbird so one or two lil pieces of Gilinor gets left out - new maps get charted everyday . -its not unusual for a new area to be discovered and not have a thousand maps recalled and re drawn because of it -lets give Jagex a lil slack on this one ....the map itself would be awesome to have as for any avid player

Interesting, Acra.
I think I'd most like to see a way for OSRS players to access RS3 clan chat, so we can all keep in touch more, but I think that's not technically possible, which is a real shame. We tried an fc for a while but too many of us were already using various fcs so it didn't work for us. We do have a clan discord, so that helps. .....
OSRS never should've happened. They should've integrated the OSRS format and called it final. And the content would still be existing - shoot, even "filters" for OSRS in RS3 would be possible, rendering "OS" sprites instead!
Runescape doesn't use sprites (minus the tiny amount used in the UI), it uses a mixture of textures for UI and 3D models for every character, NPC, monster, building, etc.
Sprites are a completely different type of graphical design in game development. Games that include sprites would be Ragnarok Online, Stardew Valley, Terraria, and Don't Starve.
Sprites are basically a collection of flat images at different animation frames. You render each frame during a specific time and action in-game to create the animation.
Basically what I'm saying is this is completely impossible for Runescape to do. Especially when you take into account that 3D models have hitboxes for the clicking and different animation cycles. One model could be better for the player during combat than the other, causing an unfair advantage based on your graphical settings.
Having two versions of the game isn't an issue. The community itself and their own self-created argument between the two versions is. Whether you play OSRS or RS3, each player is part of this community as a whole. One version or the other does not completely dictate how the game should be played or the future of the game. We're all in this together as a community regardless of our play-styles.
