Thanks for the heads up as well, but I hope this doesn't encourage phishers to send things out on Friday to take advantage of the fact that now people will be expecting a legitimate E-mail.

Clicking on a link in RuneScape itself to start the survey does have a security advantage, or so it seems to me.

This is a slightly concerning prospect as it feels that it is somewhat admitting that you are out of the loop on what the players wish to have in the game.

There are also several issues that many people may have, such as player preference being involved in update suggestions.
If someone is recognised as a nobody, it is even worth them suggesting something even if it is a fantastic suggestion?

I am also concerned about quality of suggestions that you will take. There are a ton of very silly suggestions that can be browsed around several mediums.

I am also additionally concerned if people also horde suggest something that is not healthy for the game, please don't let 100 suggestions of it sway your opinion on that suggestion.

I get emails but what is so frustrating is you can't email them back. we players have to rely on going to forums for problems specially regarding the game which is so annoying when you are left with no resolution for days or weeks even. there is always an email or message board for when you are billed to your account but nothing else for more important issues to players like an immediate solution to their problem they encounter in the game. hopefully this issue will be address on the next update. hi, my membership don't expire till sept. 19, 2019, why is it I am no longer a vip?

A lot of players including myself, moved into Old School because of the simple fact that it was more nostalgic. HD graphics when it was release was a positive thing to a lot of players and it also brought in new members into the game.

Other than making the game more visually appealing, this offers no advantages to players who use HD or SD. 2008 in my opinion, stayed true to the 2007 styling, but just enhancing the existing models.

So I guess my proposal is to find a way to add in a toggle able options between old style and 2008 HD for Old School RuneScape.

Any chance we can get a preview of the map? It'd be nice for people to see ahead of time what they're getting. Remember: there's no such thing as the Universal Standard of Descriptional Qualifications and Metric*

OSRS never should've happened. They should've integrated the OSRS format and called it final. And the content would still be existing - shoot, even "filters" for OSRS in RS3 would be possible, rendering "OS" sprites instead!

Anything is possible when the community ISN'T DIVIDED for no good reason.
And look, a stupid ass feud has been gone on for years between "versions".

By far one of the worst marketing strategies ever.
Who promotes their secondary version and has it compete with their flagship game? Nobody intelligent, that's who. And that began with "DarkScape"... See how long that lasted?
I for one will NEVER EVER go back to OSRS. I don't hate it, but the past is past and I've evolved. I even hated EOC the first two weeks until it was refined and I got used to it. Now I love the game almost the same as I ever did.

Anyway, it is what it is. I'll see if I even get a survey, doubt it. Played 15+ years and done amazing things for RS, even gotten suggestions of mine into the game, but still haven't gotten offered P-Mod status, etc... Whatever. I don't play the game for the bureaucracy anyway. But if the core game goes, I go too.

Oh, and while we're at it, thanks alot for messing up mini-games more-so than ever. Rewards I can't even earn or obtain because nobody's playing the things. Nice. Clan:
