Hey newcomers! Runescape can be a little overwhelming at first, so to get started, try doing some tasks in the Task System! It'll help ease you into new gameplay mechanics, plus you'll earn some loot along the way! If you complete all the tasks of a set, you get an awesome piece of task equipment, which gives you special bonuses, depending on what it is! Also, you earn a little money each time you complete a task, and each task you complete raises the amount of money you get from each task! Tinker around with it, you'll have a lot of fun and get some grand rewards!

My tips for you.

1)Never give anyone account details, NO MATTER how convincing they sound.

Here's a list of options for training :)
1) Troll commandos in Burthope.
2) Cows in burthope, lumby, or by the west varrock mining spot.
3) Chickens in lumby.

2) Sell the cow hides dropped by... COWS! :)
3) Sell the feathers dropped by the chickens, they stack up so that's good.
4) SKILL! Mining, fishing, woodcutting , hunting, ARE ALL good sources of money.

how would a person actually making Runescape videos go about doing it? i would like to get into making some Runescape videos and guides when new events and holiday events come out or new gear and be able to be one of the first people to show it off. I tried uploading a couple videos, but normally it has a copyright disclaimer which either removes the video, or makes it non eligible for monilasation. YouTube normally asks for a document proving that a player has permissions to post a video or guide from Runescape because the game belongs to Jagex... is there any way around this or a certain place a player can go to get permissions for making Runescape videos for YouTube?

my advice will be this,
enjoy the game
if in doubt ask
play fair
don't hound others into giving you things try to make them first
there's some great tasks out there and quests that you can do to get your levels up
join a clan you will have company and friendship
never beg
don't be afraid to try stuff out
read the rules on game play which helps a lot
remember its a game to be enjoyed and i hope you will enjoy it as much as i have ;)
