Glad to hear about the slayer and monster changes.
Don't like multicombat to be every where.
Hope the prayer problem and the problems with some potions have been fixed too.
Really hope the more balanced combat triangle works out well! Love to see it balanced more fairly.
It's been a very busy week and I'm really looking forward to trying the new updates soon. Keep up the good work.

Im interested in the Putting on armor part too. Maybe they could make it that the Armor only starts healing health after you leave it on for one minute? That way people who are about to die in PvP can't quickly put on a different armor set to heal. It could be that after you leave the armor on for one minute, every 10 seconds it starts healing 500 lp? I remember Sharks were 1600 lp in the beta, so 500 isnt too much. Maybe it could be disabled in PvP too?
Also i was wondering if Dragon and Third-Age Armor will be getting buffed like Bandos did.
I think Dragon/Third-Age should get a slight buff because Rune is getting buffed and Bandos is as well.
Royal only requires 70 Range now... it seems all the Range armors have gotten lowered except Arma. Maybe Third-Age Range should be buffed as well? And why were infinitys requirements lowered? I dont see the reason for this.. oh well.

Srm92's suggestion on page 2 is actually pretty ingenious. Why hasn't THAT been implemented?
Also, single way areas are nice. Please find a way to keep them in the game besides the pk worlds. Sometimes I like to run into an area and get mauled by everything in the area, sometimes I don't.

Glad the xp thing is getting changed again. Didn't like the whole level cut off for that considering some monsters are better for certain drops you may be looking for, but wouldn't get any xp from killing those. (Example, chaos druids are common monsters killed for herblore, so when you go to kill those for the herbs, you may kill thousands and not get any xp in the combat level of your choice) So again, glad.
One thing I have to say is disheartening, is the fact that you only have to level two combatant levels to 99 to get the max level in the game. This wouldn't give anyone really encouragement to level the other combat skills to 99. So instead of having a level 200 max with the defense 99 + magic, strength, attack or range at 99 + 2 to equal that 200, why not have a combat level of 500 meaning 99 attack + 99 Strength + 99 Defense + 99 Range + 99 Magic + 5 to equal the 500. That would give people more incentive to level the other combat levels instead of defense and just one other to 99.

Thank you! This was a much needed blog. I will contiunue to say what I've said since soon after the beta launched: I LOVE the idea of the combat rework, but it needs a lot of work and tweaks. These changes mentioned are definitely a giant leap in a good direction.

I think one of the major problems with beta is the lack of special attacks.
I wonder what kind of results it would bring if there was a "Weapon specific ultimate attack" that would vary with different weapons?
Currently weapons like Dark Bow, Dragon Dagger or Dragon Claws are almost useless as they are mostly used for their special attack.
I wonder if the developers have had any thought on this?
I find it such a waste that all the creativity spent on thinking of those special attacks and implementing them has gone to a waste.. :(
Otherwise these changes seem to be really good!
