I'm really hoping someone listens to this suggestion as it has been suggested for years now.
Revive the wilderness, add more rune ores make them spawn faster. Add more furnaces. Add more trees like magic trees. Add more resources in general. Make the wilderness a place where you can potentially make the best money in the game however it poses the greatest threat to dying in the game. This will revive the entire wilderness believe me.
It works like this:
Skiller 1 (level 100) Mines rune ore in the wilderness, makes 800k/hr let's say. < Skiller 1 is pked by Pker 1 who loots all the skillers' rune ore and makes a good 200k. < Pker 1 is killed by a group of pkers, Group 1 who loot all of pker 1s items. < Group 1 is slaughtered by Clan 1, a massive group. < Clan 1 gets into a war with Clan 2. These clans have now blacklisted eachother and are at war. < Skiller 1 still wants rune ore so he decides to make a skiller, putting another account into the game.
This wasn't even a well thought example but it still makes sense! If you make the wilderness a place where you can potentially make the best money it will be revived as a true hotspot for pkers and clans alike. If you take the suggestion which I have quoted on my previous post (Page 27), clans could work together to kill bosses in the wildy! Other clans could go just to mess with that clan. It would revive the wilderness as a place where it is never safe to venture. Please make this combat update also a wilderness update and revive the wilderness!

As for the abilities. I'd love it if it were to keep the interface that the current spellbook has.
Each ability gets a small circular or square icon that is just simple pixels like the current spells in the game. When the mouse is hovered over it explains what each one does, just like for magic. Leave the sorting buttons at the bottom. Sorted Alphabetically, Based on the level required or any other possible filter.
Within the interface are small tabs for each type skill. When you click the skill abilites for that skill would appear as small icons. This would make it less of a transition from the live game and would look just as nice. Also when an ability can't be used simple make it dim and when it can, make it light up just like spells in the live game.
This would be a much easier solution and would help many players with getting to learn the abilities.

Ok Ok, im one of those keep rs 2006 players, not because im a little baby but i just feel runescape like that ive tried the beta and thhe single way combat, xp from monsters is a YES YES that i love, but jagex...... as long as you dont ruin the runescape feel of the game it should be good

I already posted this in a thread of its own but i figured its such a good solution to one of ur biggest problems/annoyances i wanted to make sure u got to see it.


since every1 finds it annoying that every time u put on gear, u have to heal up to the max health, i have thought of something that can fix this problem that doesnt involve a "rapid healing safe zone".
this idea is to calculate wut percentage of your health u have before putting on ur gear (or before swapping or taking off ur gear). take that percentage and just swap up the max health.
for instance, if u have 247hp (25%) left while wearing no gear with a current max health of 990, if u put on gear, (if ur new max hp is, for instance, 1200) u would have 25% of ur new maximum hp. this way no1 can abuse the armors health to boost their health by taking off armor when they are hurt and putting it back on so they can heal back up.

so basicly, take the percent of health u have left and calculate it out of the new max with gear.

the update is great the only exception being the armor updates. i understand you want maxed players but no one is enthused about getting 65 def. on their zerker so they can wear infinity boots. please keep all the armor at the lvs. they are now. we all enjoy them that way. by the way love the armor boosted stats. :D
