Beta is truly amazing. I appreciate updates like these as well. Thanks guys!
Here are a few suggestions:
The pop-ups on the action bar abilities are unnecessary usually end up blocking my view of my fight. A toggle switch for the pop-ups would be nice because I'm sure some players would like to turn them off.
Also, rangers resistance to magic seems a bit overpowered.
The organization of the abilities (in the old magic book tab) needs more customization. Currently abilities all appear in order of level required to use. What about organizing them by weapon type (dual, single, or 2h weapon) or by type of ability (basic, threshold, ultimate)? Player based customization would be great.
Finally, I think the abilities tab (the old magic book) needs revamped. Abilities and combat spells should be in one interface, but the non-combat magic spells shouldn't be located on in interface designed for combat. Accessing basic spells, like teleports, require lots of clicking, scrolling, and time. I suggest you relocate these or somehow make them quicker to access.

Once again thanks so much--keep it up with the updates! COMBAT BETA FTW!!!!! Can't wait until it hits the real game.

OK, I'm really glad that Auto-Attack was buffed up once more, that would make a lot of old players like myself relatively happy. (If you could buff it up just a little bit more, that'd be great. :D )
HOWEVER, I want to express my concerns about separation of higher levels from lower levels, which seems to be shrouded with grey clouds, making it difficult to know who is really high level, or some player who wanted to LOOK like a high level.
Prayer and Herblore, some of the key skills that were relevant to combat should NOT have been nerfed, as it not only undermines the skill itself, but so many players sought after these skills in hopes of getting the best damage per second, and it separated the high levels from the low levels.
Also, the simplification of the combat formula is also a concern for me; max combat means nothing with the combat beta, and it creates an illusion on ALL players, as it's not so clear if a player actually has all 99's in his/her combat stats, or if the player only has 2 99's (including defence). Max combat use to be an achievement on it's' own, like getting any other 99 in a skill. I think the combat formula should incorporate, at the very least, ALL 6 skills: attack, range, defence, strength, magic, constitution.
ex: (A + R + D + S + M + C)/3 + 2 = 200 Max Combat
This example formula is almost just as simplistic, and still can incorporate all 6 skills. This also shows that the level 200 isn't something you can get in 2 weeks (especially if you can just purely train defence with mage or range) and thus makes max combat worth of value.

Aswell as others, I was EXTREMELY worried about the changes that might occur,
this information really relieves me of some of the complicated, overlly-mad-about
ideas that people did not like, by explaining it better. :)

Perhaps the best solution to the Armour on/off problem is to not give it a life point bonus at all; give armor the ability to reduce incoming damage by a certain percentage and/or frequency and let it suffice to serve as an enhancement to the boost provided by player defense level.
