I'm not sure I want to log on again to Beta. Wasn't a pleasant experience when I did before.
I know the current game has it's issues to some, but I keep thinking " if it is broken why fix it?"
Before I'm jumped on - this is my opinion. Sure the new EoC has some great ideas and wonderful effects - why couldn't they have been incorporated into the current system. Seriously why and Adrenaline bar - Why all the Abilities at once - introduction of a few at a time Basic first - Threshold next - than Ultimate ( a few for each combat styles) allowing players the opportunity to work with them at their own pace instead of learning a whole NEW GAME?
Again my opinion
My Goals : 120 all skills first 4/9
:
Attack: 94.4m/104m
necromancy37.6m/120m
summoning 73.1m/104m
smithing 78.9n/120m

First, thanks! Its great to see how quickly feedback is being addressed. I love the changes mentioned, and I think the direction of the EoC overall is a fun and valuable one.
One change gives me pause, however - your decision to reverse your xp penalty for fighting low level monsters. I think it addressed two important problems, people training on extremely low monsters (I'm looking at you yaks >.&lt ;) and bot training. Both dilute the player experience overall.
In the first case, I've known many players who miss out on alot of the higher level combat content in the game, just to get a particular number next to a combat skill. This sets up a situation where, instead of becoming better fighters over time and mastering the content unlocked by leveling, they instead feel more compelled to linger in the "safe" low-risk areas that they could have easily transcended. This would free up areas for low-/mid-level fighters to train, which I think is part of the original goal. As for the bots, almost anything that hurts them is good :)
Do you have other plans in place to encourage level-appropriate pvm training? There are always two approaches, the stick and the carrot; is there a way to combine both to find the balance you're seeking? On the stick end of things, perhaps a different solution that makes training less effective in other ways might work, like lower level creatures being able to cower in the presence of mightier fighters, making them more defensive/harder to damage?
On the carrot end, could you work in a scalar factor that encourages people to fight up, perhaps a modest xp multiplier that correlates positively to monsters that are close to/above the fighter's combat level? Or drops could be refined to reflect the relationship between the fighter and the monster combat levels? Perhaps drop potential could be negatively impacted if you spend lots of time training on low level monsters outside of slayer tasks?
Thanks and keep the good work :D

I think that the problems you are addressing are right on and you are on the right track. those where many of the issues i was worried about and i applaud Jadex. But there is atleast one more issue i think needs fixed and many other members agree with me. Its the prayer nerf. Many of us have saved and saved and saved to be able to afford the bones for turm and soul split and the nerf is very disappointing especially because we spent so much money on it i currently have spent a great amount and others have spent even more but its not about the money we were willing to pay for prayer because it was amazing and made soloing more possible and more interesting and it shined upon the skill because with every skill as you come closer to max level it gets stronger and this adds to the game because this strength comes from the Gods. Some other issues that are lesser but many would love to be fixed is the fact that bandos no longer gives a strength bonus and that is the reason strength prods like my self bought it. One last change is now all the God swords are the same what i think would fix the universal God sword problem (they are all the same and neither one represents its God) is to give them special abilities like barrows sets have currently. Maybe like Bandos gives a strength bonus or drains your opponents defense, and Saradomin lets you regenerate health at a rate. These are only two examples and i think the fit the swords well and they wouldn't be specs so it wouldn't upset the flow of the game just active abilities. Thanks for everything Jadex ;)

My idea for the health thing with armor:
This is my scenario.
490/700 LP before putting on armor = 70% LP
puts on armor to get health to 3000LP
health is now 2100/3000LP (still 70% LP)
Keep the percentages constant.

Since keeping the old RS isn't an option... (RIP old RS)
One thing i believe needs to be fixed is the combat level.
I know you guys want more emphasis on defense and all, but making it half of a combat level isn't the way to do it. The level 200 combat level thing should include a little of all the combat skills because I see "level 200s" with, say... 99 magic and defense. They are automatically level 200 while I'm still working on all my other skills. To be honest, I find current level 138s as harder opponents than level 200s in the beta, please reconsider this combat level system
