Glad to see you are listing. I was not about log back into that beta from last weekend to deal with that stuff again.
i disliked it so much i could careless playing your beta event last week for the custom you get
But because you made some changes maybe i pop in for little bit...
Still not fond of the entire world being muti outside of wildness. specially with protect pray don't work...

Yup, your right. I dont pvp at all actually. Im just going to miss safespotting in Pvm while ranging or maging. Its the most laid back type of combat because even if I am Afk i can be ensured that no matter what happens i won't die. And it was nice not having to bring food. Even if they are raising the xp rates for non-ability training, it will be much harder to afk mage or range (unless the monster is extremely weak).
Also like someone else mentioned in the beta protection prayers dont give ultimate protection against monsters. I know this is already true for pvp ( it should be like that), i would prefer protect prayers giving protection against monsters. It seems that the monsters have gotten many buffs in this combat update as well.
Many quests that currently can be done by lower levelled players that involve fighting certain monsters may not be possible after this update because there are certain quests where protection prayers are very important for the fighting in those quests.

A big update that might be needed is a separation of the spell book from the special abilities book. Mundane activities like high alchemy, enchanting jewelry, and day to day spells are lost in the combat overhaul. Would it be possible to switch between two modes? one for combat, and one for regular activities? Just an idea :)

Glad to see you guys are already making progress on shaping the beta into something even better. Hopefully this news will calm down -some- of the whiny threads that lack any constructive criticism. But of course, there will always be people who refuse to take a look at the front page. Keep up the work and thanks for lending us an ear!
