I am not a huge fan at all of the beta, but knowing that we are going to have to live with it because it's going to happen, at least the major problems are being fixed. I still am CLUELESS on what is going on in the combat beta, mostly due to the fact that i can only play on the weekends (very dumb, if you want feedback why would you seal out thousands of good players?) I can't learn very much. I get killed in the wilderness in seconds from god knows what, and I just don't know what to do.. I am a pking guy, and now it looks like that is going to die without relearning runescape all over again. It's sad to see 11 or so years of a unique game turn into a mini world of warcraft, and many will quit, but I will try it out. And something else.. uhh.. PLEASE MAKE SINGLE WAY WORLDS ASAP WHAT SENSE IS THERE IN FIGHTING SOMEONE WHEN 5 OTHER MAGES START ATTACKING YOU WITH CONSTANT 1000'S. Also, I get balancing the combat triangle, but ranged and mage are so overpowered haha, I can't even get a hit in without loosing 3/4 of my HP.. There are so many things wrong with the beta, and so many players. Everything will never be fixed, which is why i personally think runescape should remain how it was and we all update it together to make the game WE want. WE pay you all, I think we should have a bigger word in it before you change 11 years of runescape forever. I wonder what Paul would think? LMAO. Well Jagex, I am not your #1 fan, but I love runescape. Some decisions you make are good, but most aren't :P . I have been paying monthly fees for YEARS, and it is a shame to see where all that money brought me. And that is utter disappointment. #1 thing to do here Jagex - open it to everyone so you can have more feedback. There are somethings in the game and that you do that make no sense. But, you guys are smart, and have a good game (might turn into had) so hopefully you use that to your advantage and don't ***** up! Best of luck, and please don't ruin runescape. I love it. And pay.

Solution to the "Putting on Armour" issue. Make the armour recognize the % of life points you had before putting it on then retain that value overall when it is put on. Ex. Constitution lvl of 50 = 500 life points. I am currently at 470 (94%) of my total life points thus when I put on a pieces of armour which increase my total life point pool to 5000 I will be at 4700 life points instead of the still 470. Ca va?

the beta updates sound good but monsters should also be taken into account, the normal monsters like bats or demons can only use one attack while players have all kinds of attacks and defences in their arsenal, also giant bats shouldn't be able to use magic, that's stupid, and gnome guards shouldn't attack you unless you attack them or other gnomes.

here's my only real problem w/ the beta thus far, only because I've only looked at the melee aspect of it. 2 words: Fight Cave. to me it seem that either I've been under-powered or the creatures have been overpowered. *** seems their levels and hp have gone up and as a result i cant even get half as far as i would in the regular game. w/ my current stats, i can get to wave 35 no problem. but in the beta, w/ full dragon mind you, i couldn't even get to wave 8 - and that's with rocktails, brews, prayer pots, etc. maybe its just me - maybe I'm just a noob :P - but i know you guys are working hard on it so i understand why things seem out of whack. another thing i want to mention is the prices...i prices checked some items and well...83.5m for full dragon? come on now, get it together jagex...<-----(please don't ban me for that :P )

one thing that really bugs me is i hate that i paid 27m(a while back) for a saradomin godsword for the prayer and health restore. And now as far as i can tell in the beta they specials are gone, makinging it completely useless as far as that aspect goes, i loved to use the specials and now they are gone why?

First of all I am so glad to see this on the front page! I was hoping I'd be able to see the changes in the Beta!
The thing I'm most excited about is the explanations! Like the guy said a little before me, I tried the Fight Caves with full torva, overloads, rocktails, godswords, and everything I should need to get pretty far. I wasn't looking to get to Jad as I'm not very experienced in Fight Caves, but I can get to wave 35 or so with bandos. Now in the Beta, I got to wave 10. That doesn't seem right at all. I'm hoping a better explanation will solve most of my problems!

You Guys are awesome!! Your addressed several of the concerns i had with the beta. The way you changed the auto attack system back how it used to be is awesome. I think you would have lost alot of casual players who did not feel like playing a wow clone. Please stay unique. Can you please look into re balancing magic so the damage is higher. Please also find a way to keep some weapon specials. They are a big part of the game. I feel like godswords will drop alot in price and i am really attached to my armadale godsword at the moment.
