If this acquisition happens Runescape as we know it is ******. The jmods can lie to us all they want and feed us pre-approved responses until we're green in the face. Selling out to a MINING COMPANY is as stupid as it gets, a Chinese one on top of it is unthinkable.

Why would you ever consider selling out to one of the biggest violators of human rights left in the world? The country with the least regard for their environmental impact? How could you do this Jagex?

Total acquisition is just that. TOTAL. It means ultimately you at Jagex have NO SAY in final decisions. Even if you disagree with them. They will be your new boss. If you won't do it they will just fire your assessment and replace you with someone that will. If this happens, RIP Runescape.

Simply put, no. Our approach to how we charge for the games is based on what we feel is right for each of them and that would stay the same should the acquisition happen. We don’t plan for any significant changes on this front.
