You have stated that you value community input and that it is a core aspect of success for Jagex?
Then why not put the acquisition to a poll? Ingame just like for any other major game update and give 3 options, For, Against, Uncaring

It doesn't work that way. Sorry.

Lol as if 1000 players voting over a 300 million dollar deal changes their opinion. To be honest tho I wouldn't mind some certain changes. Could be cool to see the game from a new perspective etc.
I've gone from an activity player to an inactive player.

Will this affect the levels of (or add) MTX in the games?

Simply put, no. Our approach to how we charge for the games is based on what we feel is right for each of them and that would stay the same should the acquisition happen. We don’t plan for any significant changes on this front.

Not holding my breath on this issue.
"We don't plan"

They said that for a reason. It keeps them correct legally while allows them to be wrong in the future aswell.

If this Chinese Gold Mining company buys Jagex and tells them to implement Pay to win, Jagex will have NO say in the matter. It'll be happening and there is nothing Pips or anyone at Jagex could do about it.

This, Everything in this post is that way. "We're not planning, we don't anticipate, ect..."
They're telling us right off the bat that it's up to the new guys.

Theoretically speaking all the players together over-rule any decision. If we all quit Jagex is bankrupt.

This is true.

But I highly doubt that there will be a serious organized movement against this decision.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

Well, I agree with Jagex. The company needs to change hands but not to the Chinese. Their government is corrupt and all of their MMOs are pay to win, even worse than the current condition of Runescape today.

Can you imagine it if this business deal went through?

We'd have the next Runefest held inside of an authentic chinese coal mine. Cool!

Actually, it would most likely be at the bottom of a strip mine, since it's an iron mining company. PARTY IN THE HOLE IN THE GROUND
