I smell a lot of bovine ********* in Pips' post. Aka, "good business" doublespeak.

We heard lines similar to this in similar events in the not-too-distant past.

Not sure where the Wild claims are.

We have heard similar themes before, not only when the company has changed hands, but also when the company has introduced games.

And it's true they won't be in charge after the takeover, which is why they can say they have no plans and be truthful whilst also being disingenuous. thinks Jagex should honour the results of the original Old School Poll

I agree, if it carries on Mod Pips will lock the thread and no one will have their chance of an opinion on the potential takeover.

I question this too, to be honest.

Not surprising at all. Many forum users like to complain and hope things will change their way but some will always come to the defense of it even with no or ridiculous arguments.

However when it reaches the point when the complainers find out their complaints won't change the outcome whatsoever and the defenders find out they don't really want to defend what they are defending but somehow they have to, both parties realize the outcome is inevitable and they will all be losers like dinosaurs steering into the falling sky. Then they will just stop the arguments and begin to talk about the weather then nonsense and eventually they wish the Gods will lock the thread and hope the other dinosaurs won't see the falling sky.

I don't know, I personally am torn at whether to laugh or cry at some of the accusations in this thread, but that's neither here nor there.

Hey Tclcis? Fear? It's not fear, it's resignation. I have evidence on my side. It happened a few years back with IVP. This is just the continuance that many of us forecasted coming back then.

So, please tell us when you have "evidence" that this will all be rainbows, unicorns and roses. All you have are the very purposefully vague statements on Pips' post, which mean absolutely nothing should this takeover take place. The truth? I never accused him of lying! Of course he's telling his version of "the truth" -- there's nothing he's said that he will have to look back and say was false. It's worded to reassure the masses, but makes absolutely no promises that will have to be kept. Entirely disingenuous, as Librarian says.

At least you couldn't do with me what you've done to so many others on this thread and play the "amg ur r4c1st" card; I was just as unhappy when my fellow sleazebag American Wall Street businessmen took over Rs.
