If only we could some how harness pointless speculation into a form of energy. This thread alone could power China for a day.
This discussion is far from pointless. There are very really, possibly very bad outcomes for the game (both RS3 and OSRS) if Jagex is acquired by a Chinese company.
Take everything with a grain of salt, obviously, since Jagex has issued no further statement on this whole situation. Still, it's not out of the question to worry. Just look at the state of MMO games in Asia for evidence of how greedy the owners of such games can get.
Maple Story. Need I say more?
There is also a very possible really good outcome for the game as well.
But since you mentioned MMO in china. How many of them were created in china? How many were acquired from foreign companies? How many were radically altered from their previous version into new version?
People have been dooming and gloaming over IVP which ignores that they have had majority share holder stake since 2010. Which is far earlier then the issues players point out as entirely their fault start to show up.
I'm a big entropy fan.
All subtlety and nuance of a napalm enema
