does this mean chinese company will be replacing ivp? in that case i support, i have never seen a single good thing come out of ivp, and after what they did to maple story, and have already forced mtx into runescape? ill take an asian company over it anyday

I guess where does jagex say it is this company? Liang Xiuhong is mentioned in the Financial Times article. He just recently purchased the controlling share of the Shandong Hongda Mining Co.

IVP are saints compared to the Chinese.


You're complaining about the current RS3 MTX? Lm***, it's some of the tamest microtransactions ever in a game. if RS3 was level 1 MTX right now, it'd be lvl 99 under a Chinese company.

I have to say, I'm honestly concerned. I feel like I have wasted the last ten years of my life just so you can sell out. I planned on having Max, Completionist and Master Quest capes this year, but I'm not sure I should put any more time into my account. I willingly put in hundreds of dollars for spins and keys over the years because I wanted the items, but not a cent will be going to your company outside of my monthly subscription fee because I don't trust in you any longer.

I know there are arguments that we don't know what will happen, wait and see, etc. etc... I have played enough Chinese games to know that they don't do any model but pay to win. I enjoyed Runescape in all of my years of playing. I've met so many friends, including my husband. This game is what we did together in the England to America long distance that made us feel closer.

I am disappointed, I am scared, I am sad and I am upset. I can't do anything else now but shake my head.

Well I'm heavily relying on the fact that you have historically not been misleading, but given that is true, is the mining company purchasing jagex shares or is Liang Xiuhon* purchasing them? And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
