Looks like Jagex is selling their sinking ship that many good and experienced JMods already abandoned months/years ago. A mining company buys a video game company... hmm in what Universe does that seem like a good idea? Also chinese games are all riddled with MTX to the max and have average lifespan of 6 months so I don't see a bright future for RuneScape if it passes.

Man I will miss Runescape, after having played since 2002, I can't really live without it either...
Something tells me this will turn out to be a really bad thing, and it also goes to show you only care about the money, nothing else.

Glad to hear you're listening in.

I like RuneScape as is (although many of us still have a dislike for Treasure Hunter)

My main concern is, if the company is bought, I wouldn't want the new owners (as it were) to affect any of the game's direction.

The very best thing you can do when buying a successful company is not butt in.
