Ok a few things i want to know from a Jmod i asked way back when even the name was mentioned on this thing:
1) We had games like Transformers universe knock you block of and many over side games can you please give us assurance this wont be a total flop like all the over side games?
2) How much if any of the actual resources for Runescape where put into making this game as i really dont want to feel like my money has been poured down the drain.
Ill give this game a go like all the overs before hand but i just wish to god you would stick to what your (kinda) good at which is runescape.
Clearly you have invested capital in Jagex shares to be asking these questions, and I'm sure they will be delighted to answer you in the next Shareholders meeting.
Or do you also feel obliged to ask McDonald's tough questions about their marketing strategy because you enjoy 'investing' in a Happy Meal?
You don't have to invest capital into something to care about it's wellbeing. Being concerned about the quality of a product that you will be using and have volunteered time and resources into makes sense. (especially if attention is being taken away from that product)
If the quality of a happy meal deteriorated it wouldn't matter for the consumer if 90% of customers stopped buying happy meals. The consumer hasn't even had to allocate much of their time into their happy meal (apart from purchasing and eating it) The customer could get the exact same thing elsewhere, if not better. There isn't much that is special to a happy meal, it isn't a work of art. A game is a creative work of art, unique in many aspects. If 90% of people stopped playing a game like Runescape due to a decrease in quality the game would die, the updates would stop coming and more players would quit.
Will there be in game incentives to play the card game? Like monthly competitions to win items in the runescape game itself? That would make me curious. Otherwise I'll pass on the game entirely.
