I'm still trying to understand why Jagex feels a compulsive need to do everything that other game developers do.... Hearthstone( which is what this is similar in some ways to) isn't even good.(my opinion)

Even small no-name development teams have competitive card games going right now. The market is a bit over-saturated don't ya think?

List of all games that Chronicle is similar to:
Hearthstone
Deck Heroes
Titans
Card Wars - Adventure Time
Card King: Dragon Wars
Elemental Kingdoms
War of Cabals: Occult Masters
Sid Story
Fantasy Warlord

Not as similar, but still card games(in app form):
Yu-gi-oh!: Duel Generation
Magic 2015

The only difference between these other games and Chronicle, aside from characters and story, is the graphical quality, where Chronicle has 'em beat(if the trailer even showed what the game really looks like). I still don't like it, though.

Omikron - we're aware that it looks similar to the games you've mentioned, but when you try it out you'll see it's really not. We've taken steps to make sure it's not the same.

Omikron, you have clearly not seen any gameplay then, the only similar thing is that there are cards in all of them, however, the way you use the cards and play the game is a new one. It's like saying all board games are the same, because they involve a board. However, the way the game works is the core of every game, and not the items you use in there.

Hearthstone .5 is coming to RS? mmmkay... also to those who are thinking it's not a hearthstone comparison because there's a large number of online card games...Hearthstone is the only real card game based off a popular mmor**'s lore. Much like they plan to do here. Idk...I love RS but I truly hope they don't sink money into this one because that would only hurt the future of RS.
