I have always been one who tried to counter the doomsayers, and except for Sof kept a positive hopeful attitude.

But now with this, on top of talk about world removal, really leaves me to feel this game is sadly being milked toward its inevitable doom. The game is not being cared for, improved. Its being used up, as what was great is slowly destroyed in the process.

Not everyone, I have friends who believe this is a good idea. It was also mentioned it the video that bonds can be used to donate to charity come November. If that's not a good thing I don't know what is.
Anywho, I'm sure jagex will be able to find out who is buying gold and wipe/ban them. They have no reason to rwt using third parties now. So gf anyone buying from third parties.

Obviously they have to do that to make themselves look good, but it doesn't really help considering the majority of this game are immature and selfish, would never donate anything.

The majority? I think it's more like the loud minority. We often take greater notice in the things that stand out to us albeit disruptiveness, bad morals etc. What if jagex offers a reward for donating, e.g. loyalty points, unique in-game items and so on? I think that would be an idea worth implementing. *hint hint mods :o*

You guys make me sick. This will do nothing to get rid of bots. All it will do is push them off to OSRS. If anything it will make it worse since they can make more of a profit off of OSRS as well. The game did go pay to win. I love how your against gold farming but then you do it IRL. Either your ignorant in thinking this will stop bots or clever as hell in fooling about half your playerbase into buy gold. Either way I'll be gone for good even if you remove the micro transactions this and EOC. Good luck competing with the next gen consoles and games.

Jagex are not selling gold and have no intention of doing so. No extra gold is being introduced into the economy by the introduction of bonds.

It doesn't matter where the gold comes from, you're still selling gold. The real world traders didn't introduce new gold into the economy either.
