#1 Isn't that RWT?
#2 You want everyone to able to use all premium content and never be left out? What?
#3 You basically just told me you want people to pay for money in game. So I can be a lvl 3 buy enough bonds and sell for in game money and buy whatever I want because I got it like that? Right... what about the people that barely can afford to pay the membership or have to beg and steal for it (pretty sure it happens)? Won't they be left out from all the goodies?

Personally, I worked hard for this account over a long time....
Just use RS 2007 revert everyone's stats over and lose their banks. The veterans have enough experience and skill level to make their money back and the low levels start with nothing anyways... Get rid of GE of period! Bring actually trading back. Extra xp should only be given in training****, lamps, and quests. No mini games for xp or special events (STOP GIVING PEOPLE THE EASY OUT!). Leave pk the way it was... revs are too much. Maybe the old way was ok?

Use RS2007 as the base and update from there...

Please you guys make a lot of money I'm sure, step your game up.

You should have two full departments for botting, reporting, and undercover RWT.

Get on the forums of other sites and catch people selling RWT. Actually look at reports. Or even have a form to fill out in a pop up and let them upload screenies?
Have people play more in game to catch botting and whatever elese it takes to stop it*

** was good....... Now it's just sitting at Edgeville??

DOING WAY TOO MUCH. Reply

The loud minority strikes again.

I'll give it a week before the heat cools down.

Seriously though... choose your evil: Buying gold from bots or buying bonds from Jagex (with no exp benefit).

Rather we like it or not, and this is a fact of life here, bots will never go away. Jagex evolves, bots evolve. Gold farmers will always exist when there's a demand for them and 50% of the playerbase buys from them. The best solution is to eliminate the demand of gold from bots. This is how you do it.

Hate this all you want, but just because the loud minority doesn't like it doesn't mean it's the wrong move to make.

I welcome disagreement, but tell me in detail "why this is the wrong move" and what you'd do instead. Small hint: Jagex probably thought about your idea first and it's probably a bad idea.

A clear, accesible survey should suffice to settle this. Like the Free trade and OSRS surveys. If we vote no, it goes, if we vote yes, it stays. The year of the player right?

This certainly is the year of the players and we believe bonds only further deliver on this. Players choose whether they wish to purchase bonds and what they exchange the bonds for (either through player to player trades or on the Grand Exchange) in the same way as any other item. It is the community that will determine what bonds are truly worth. (Indeed, some players may even choose to use bonds as a method of gifting their friends membership benefits).

The decision regarding the introduction of bonds was made without any vote for several reasons including how critical it is to the long term health of the game and the safety of it's players. In addition, if any warning had been given to goldfarmers we could have seen all of their wealth being dumped into the economy ahead of the introduction of bonds.

If it is the year of the player why cant we decide if we want this or not?

Does it get rid of my trade limit? Really want to get rid of it please reply! :(

Hi there,
The trade limits remain unchanged.
However, bonds are exempt from these trade limits.

yeah, i think, from now on, for issues like this, you need to first introduce the idea, leave it on the forums for suggestions for tweaks and whatnot, and once your done with the final product, set a voting system before you decide launching it is the best thing to do. this way, you'll know what the community thinks is best for runescape in general.

I actually feel like this is the best game update ever! I like how it promotes becoming an expert level player and will allow in-game accomplishments to have actual value instead of scammers ruining that value with their gold farming. It's going to change the game but I think in a positive direction, as all recent updates have done. It seems like one of the primary concerns of the mods being loyal to the players who love the game, which is really cool.

P.S.- Clever reference of 'the inconvenient truth'!

Thanks for the great work yet again! ;)
