I lost out on the opportunity to gain additional membership once the secure website "PlaySpan" was bought out by another company and thus I had no way of buying membership without offers. I certainly have enough money to buy membership, but there are other issues as to why I can't.
This bond system would be able to get me some membership-- provided I have enough money (Which I stopped playing for money 4 years ago after my first mil, so obviously the answer is no there
), but since it can be gifted there are interesting possibilities as to how this will work. Imagine clan leaders of "mixed" (f2p/p2p) clans-- they can reward loyal clan members with a free 14-day membership. How cool is that??
One of my biggest complaints about membership is that I felt like if I wasn't on constantly for a month straight, I was losing the money I spent. By cutting membership time in half, this can combat this problem..
As for the RWT issue, do any of the current players even care anymore? I mean, we've all put up with the SoF...
