The real problem with gold farmers is that they hurt the players opportunity to play in a fair environment. We're not concerned with them selling your I.P. as much as we're concerned that they're getting unfair advantages over us simply because they have money to spend,
and you're perpetuating and actually guaranteeing that problem never goes away.
This is, in my opinion, the main problem with the update. It's totally understandable why Jagex are doing this. But I can't help but be unhappy that players can pay for wealth ingame. That is one of my primary concerns with gold farmers; yes I don't like deflation and inflation, but perhaps the most important thing to me if I'm honest, is that making money should require putting the time in, ingame, rather than just being able to pay for it, like paying for a cheat code. Now this particular problem can't go away, and it's like Jagex are accepting it, and actually benefiting from it.
